Shameful: ‘Comedian’ Frankie Boyle tweets to pope ‘You’ll be laughing with Hitler in hell’

Repugnant. BBC star and Scottish “comedian” Frankie Boyle puts the despicable icing on the disgusting pope-hating cake.

Boyle continued with the vile.

Shame on you, Mr. Boyle. Shame on you.

  • Tangchung

    Attention Whore.

  • TocksNedlog

Gee, he’s like the British version of Bill Maher.
Quick, somebody give him his own show!
You can call it “Dentally Incorrect”

    • GaryTheBrave

This is more funny than anything Boyle has ever done.

    • disqus_lLUSGwbabb

The only difference is there are some people who actually know who Bill Maher is. And I agree your joke was funnier than anything either “comedian” has ever said!

  • Steve_J

    Not funny, not even original.

  • Yeah I Said It

With all due respect, anyone who claims to be be ” God on earth” and “able to forgive sins” and tampers with God’s law, the forth commandment, is a blasphemer . Here is a quote from Docturnal Catechism by Stephen Keenan, ” Question – have you any other way of proving that the church ( Roman Catholic)has power to institute festivals of precept? Answer – had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her – she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day, a change for which there is no scriptural authority”. The Catholic church will have a lot to answer for someday.

    • BeeKaaay

The Pope does not claim to be God on earth. Show me the CCC citation for that.

able to forgive sins? You forgot your Bible, John 20, Jesus gave his priests that authority. Then there’s also that part in James too.

And the 7th day change? Please tell me when this was instituted. What Pope or council put this change in?

Next time, learn to tell the truth.

    • Corey Dennison

Wow…the ignorance in your post is stunning. No where at any time has a Pope claimed to be ‘God on Earth.” The rest of your screed is simply head-shakingly stupid. By the way, that’s awesome how you judge over 1 Billion people like that…

    • aliwilcox

Yeah, you said a lot of crap and without any respect. The Catholic Church was founded on Christ’s orders and 7th Day Adventists are just another branch of also rans that sprang off from the mother church. I’m sorry to see that religious bigotry is still alive.

    • Hiraghm

      1) Badmouth the Pope if you like, just don’t badmouth Islamic Imams.

2)”anyone who claims to be be ” God on earth” and “able to forgive sins”
and tampers with God’s law, the forth commandment, is a blasphemer .”

Yeah, Obama’s going to have a lot to answer for. Along with AlGore and half of hollyweird.

    • kateorjane

Sometimes the uber religious are REALLY annoying, especially when they criticize how others believe.. Try to remember that all Christians don’t speak in tongue and rail against Sunday services.

      • Patrick Dennehy

Reservedly, I agree with you; I will defend God, Jesus, and Religion. I will try to advocate its importance to the unenlightened. I will not bash you over the head with my religion and I respect someone not agreeing with my philosophy. I don’t have the hubris to think I am (or the Bible is) 100% correct. I will not stand idly by, however, while the Secular Progressive movement takes over my country. Removing god from society will not lead us towards a utopian future.

    • annoyinglittletwerp

While I agree that ‘Shabbat’ is on Saturday rather than Sunday…that change had nothing to do with the Catholic Church. Get a clue.

    • Patrick Dennehy

When a statement starts with, ‘With all do respect’, its rarely followed by it.

      • Verreck

With all the respect it is due. The pope is a damn rapist appeaser.

        • Corey Dennison

          Relax, sugartitz. you’ll be ok.

          • Verreck

Of course I’ll be ok. I’m over 10 years old and I don’t go to church.

          • Patrick Dennehy

I suggest you go back, you missed some lessons, apparently.

  • JohnInMA

Guess what? He’s getting the ‘twitterfect’ he wanted. More people now know his name than ever would have after endless years of performing. Any notoriety of any kind is good in the eyes of some entertainers.

  • blazman

wonder how far down the chain of command they would have to go to find a
Pope that has no inside knowledge of sex abuse on children.

    • Jillane Kent

Inside knowledge? Given that the current Pope has acknowledged past abuse, it really would not be that hard, would it?

      • Verreck

Acknowledging it is one thing. Heck, I acknowledge the sun will come up tomorrow. He needs to confess he covered it up and allowed it to continue.

        • Corey Dennison

And you need to settle down and or relax.

    • Patrick Dennehy

Judging by your post you have no understanding of the Catholic Hierarchy

  • aliwilcox

Boyle is a boil on the butt of Catholics. He should be lanced and sterilized.

    • rob2uk

Catholics are a malignant tumour in the brain of mankind.

      • Teresa Davis McCormick

        oh that’s really nice. STFU

  • notenoughtime

Not a smart move to diss the Pope. He will certainly pray for Boyle since it is obvious he needs it!

  • RadicalRebelWhoMeToo

Yeah. Because it’s ALWAYS HILARIOUS to disparage a ailing and frail old man who has dedicated his life to serving mankind. @frankieboyle #ClassActNumeroUno #MORON

    • Verreck

Serving mankind, possibly but he also did a wonderful job of aiding and abetting the rape of little boys.

      • RadicalRebelWhoMeToo

        • Verreck
          • RadicalRebelWhoMeToo

Interesting….With all this “evidence” and he’s not sitting in a prison anywhere.

          • ERMERGERD

You can trust journalists! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry sometimes at the stupidity of liberals.

          • Verreck

Did you just ignore the letter the pope wrote himself directing the church to not report when priest rape little kids and then totally ignore it after 10 years?

          • Teresa Davis McCormick

            the Pope wrote himself? proof?

          • Verreck

Before he was Pope he was Cardinal Ratzinger and was in charge of “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith” (formerly known as the Inquisition). In 2001, Pope John Paul II placed this department in charge of the investigation of child rape and torture by Catholic priests. In May of that year, Ratzinger issued a confidential letter to every bishop. It asserted the church’s right to hold its inquiries behind closed doors and keep the evidence confidential for up to 10 years after the victims reached adulthood.

          • Teresa Davis McCormick

at least 3 of those sources have been proven liars. But go ahead and keep researching, maybe you’ll stumble on the truth.

        • Verreck

Here’s a link to the pope himself ordering the cover-up.

-Delicts against the sanctity of the sacrament of penance, namely:
          1. Absolution of an accomplice in sin against the Sixth Commandment of the Decalogue.(8)
          2. Solicitation in the act, on the occasion or under the pretext of confession, to sin against the Sixth Commandment of the Decalogue, if it is directed to sin with the confessor himself.(9)
          3. Direct violation of the sacramental seal.(10)

Only these delicts, which are indicated above with their definition, are reserved to the apostolic tribunal of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

It must be noted that the criminal action on delicts reserved to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is extinguished by a prescription of 10 years.(11) The prescription runs according to the universal and common law;(12) however, in the delict perpetrated with a minor by a cleric, the prescription begins to run from the day when the minor has completed the 18th year of age.

Rome, from the offices of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, May 18, 2001.

          Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger

          Archbishop Tarcisio Bertone, SDB

          • SJ’s Dad

A simple man with a simple faith’s apologetics:

Can we agree that God exists?

Can we agree that he is not merely capable of truth, but the
            author thereof?

Can we agree that Jesus Christ is his only begotten son?

Can we agree that by extension of his divine nature, Jesus
is also the embodiment of truth?

Those preconditions agreed to, I give you Matt 16:18,19

16:18. On you Peter(ROCK) I build my church and the gates of hell will NEVER prevail against her!
16:19. I will give you the keys to the kingdom, anything you bind is bound, anything made loose is lost!

It’s all right there! You’ve got your foundation & establishment
of the Catholic Church, your installment of the 1st Pope,
establishment of the papacy, and bear in mind, you’ve got a little irony thrown
in there (Peter/Rock . . . Good One!) you’ve got your flying finger in the face
of Satan, yeah, he said it gates-o-Hell-boy NEVER! Why do you think the
Catholic Church has been the most vilified, most hated, most attacked church in
the history of human kind? Because the
ORIGINAL Narcissist-in-Chief NEVER backs down from a challenge . . . He knows
he can NEVER win, but he WILL die tryin’! The great thing about Jesus is, when
he places HIS trust in you, He NEVER backs down either! Jesus put His trust in a TOTAL screw-up!
Peter’s “NEVER” lasted all of, what, 30 minutes, couple hours maybe, but Jesus
NEVER backed away from his trust in Peter, even after Peter betrayed him, not
more than a couple of hours after Judas betrayed him, Jesus trust remained in
Peter, because, unlike Judas, Peter trusted in Him! Despite those betrayals resulting in Jesus
getting whipped, beaten, spat-on, mocked, ridiculed, nailed to a tree, chucked
in a hole in the ground, and a giant rock rolled in front of it, three days
later the rock’s gone, Jesus is gone, and everyone’s been looking for him ever
since, but he did come back to see his old pal PETER, and when he DID, he had
every right to say “Gimme those keys back you sorry ace excuse for MY Vicar on
            Earth!” . . . but did he? . . . NEVER,
because while Peter’s “NEVER” may have only lasted for a couple hours, Jesus “NEVER”
            means NEVER! SOOOoooo,
Did Satan bring down the early Church with an alleged apostasy? . . .
NEVER!, Did he end the Church with a
            Schism? . . . NEVER!! “Other Faiths”? .
            . . NEVER!!! . . . His own Minions
posing as Priests Molesting Little Boys? . . . NEVER!!!! NOWTHEN . . . Did Peter’s successors handle
these SCANDALS as perfectly as Jesus himself would have? . . . wait for it . .
. NEVER!!!!! But remember, he said that’s
            how it would happen!

Throughout the Millenia the Church has had MILLIONS of
detractors who all forgot the one word promise of Jesus . . . NEVER!!!!!!!

  • Patrick Dennehy

I didn’t think atheists believed in heaven or hell, so how could he possibly go there?

  • AdoEdem

Because it wasn’t as if Hitler sent Polish Catholics to the camps…oh wait. So is espousing the state-approved politics now a history class offset now, too?

    • el_polacko

it wasn’t as if the vatican cut deals with hitler and mussolini and smuggled nazis out of europe to south america after the war….oh wait….

      • Corey Dennison

        Lame-assed troll is lame.

      • AdoEdem

I noticed that you conveniently “forgot” to mention that the ratlines 1) were carried out by individual priests, 2) that many of those priests had been duped into believing these Nazis had repented and converted, and 3) these priests later confessed and regretted their actions.

As for “Hitler’s Pope”, Pius XII, I think this gentleman explains it more thoroughly than I could using only Disqus. What, you also “forgot” that Germany had been openly hostile to the Church long before the rise of Nazism?

A for effort, F for execution. Try again, sweetie. ^_^

  • Proud2bfromtheUSA

who the hell is Frankie Boyle and why is he trying to ride the popes coattails?

  • Maxx

You could grant me three additional lifetimes and it still wouldn’t be enough time for me to figure out who the hell “Frankie Boyle” is.

  • oneword

  • el_polacko

ratzinger’s legacy will include, both from when he was grand inquisitor and as pope, his demonization of gay people in terms that put the westboro cult to shame while, simultaneously, protecting the pedophiles in his church’s ranks. perhaps it’s time that the vatican be stripped of the ‘statehood’ put in place by mussolini so that the criminal abusers in the catholic church can be
prosecuted just as any other citizen would be.

    • Corey Dennison

Wow…that was a lot of stupid in a single post. Congratulations.

  • George Washington Mclintock

Guys like Frankie Boyle turned the UK from the foundation of Western civilization that brought law and democracy to the world to a truly pathetic 3rd world country. And one of the ways they did it was relentlessly attacking the religious tradition. Well, if you been to England recently, or even read their papers, you can see how well that turned out.

  • Rulz

I know he’s a comedian who insults the Pope, but

    Who is Frankie Boyle?
