During Hurricane Sandy last fall, Newark Mayor Cory Booker fielded calls for help, gave tips on food storage, and even invited stranded, power-deprived residents into his home.
With Winter Storm Nemo bearing down on the East Coast, the proactive super-mayor is all over Twitter with breaking news updates and advice. His constituents greatly appreciate the responsiveness and transparency.
