Oh dear. As Twitchy reported earlier, Sen. Marco Rubio responded adroitly to Time’s ridiculous cover naming him “the Republican savior,” tweeting, “There is only one savior, and it is not me.”
Time’s response?
@marcorubio Point taken, but we just said you're the 'Republican savior.'—

. @TIME @marcorubio Christians take the term 'savior' very seriously. No matter what 'theme'; only ONE savior ever. Jesus Christ.—

@TIME Maybe in the future u can turn down the religious hyperbole, seeing that ur a leftist propaganda machine, it's not really ur schtick.—

Amen. The writer of the piece, Mike Grunwald, weighed in, noting that he didn’t come up with the cover.
I didn't write the cover line! #maybeneededaquestionmark? RT "@marcorubio: There is only one savior, and it is not me. #Jesus"—

Maybe you need a question mark? Sorry, the time for that was back in December, when the cover read “Person of the Year” over Obama’s profile.
