Cuckoo: Right-wing conspiracy nuts out in force over Chris Kyle’s death

As Twitchy reported earlier today,  Mother Jones editor Clara Jeffery used the murder of war hero Chris Kyle as inspiration for a ridiculous rant on the necessity of gun control.

Some on the far right are taking things to the other extreme, claiming that the shooting is a conspiracy.  Many of these people think the shooting was ordered by the Obama Administration. We kid you not.

The Obama Administration is  guilty of many wrongs, but to suggest that it is behind the shooting of Chris Kyle belittles the tragedy of what occurred yesterday.

It is time for the conspiracists to put down their tin foil hats and get a grip.

Wow twitchy calling out the far right, imagine that? Congrats for calling out both sides for using this guys death as a prop

No, calling out the nuts. Like the nuts who think Bush was behind 9/11.

    • tifosies

BOTH sides using this guys death as a prop? How so?

  • CatHerder

No. No, no, no, no, no. We are so not going to go there. There are enough loony conspiracy theories out there already to keep a brigade of tinfoil-hatters busy.

    So just no.

      Seconded.

  • Jesse Toler

It is not at all far fetched that this was yet another false flag.

    was there a conspiracy?
    no, just a tragedy.

do some of the editors here seem to like the smell of their own farts?
    yup.

Love the hit at the right-wing, if Americans of all political stripes had a trustworthy government that wasn’t poking them in the eye every day of every week perhaps there would be no need for conspiracies. I am surprised by Twitchy using the language of the left to take down what would be a natural constituency for this site. I guess now you will have the leftists looking in each day to see how you knocked the right upside the head w/a 2X4, thereby showing more hits to the site. I expected this from Beck w/his acquisition of a leftist from Huffington to manage his site, didn’t expect it from Malkin.

I shook my head at the loons on the Left who were sure that Bush did 9-11 and was going to stage another “false flag attack” to give him an excuse to cancel the 2008 election, and I will shake my head at the loons on my own “team” when they start venturing into batchit-crazy territory as well.

It’s okay to call people out when you don’t agree with them and don’t want to be associated with their fevered imaginings.

This was a devastating tragedy, and the only one to blame is the shooter.

      • Ntr

No one is lifting blame from the shooter. But it seems a lot of people aren’t thinking of the fuller picture.

As Smith says, this isn’t a “right-winger” thing, it’s a nut thing. No diff from the nuts who said Bush did 9/11 so he could snag Iraqi oil for cheap or the nuts who think a planet called Nibiru is about to collide with earth.

Could I add that those “loons” on the left are in positions of power in our federal government now, that it is mainstream for the left that you NEVER hear those crazy “leftwingers”….that Twitchy chose to use the language of the left to make their point that conspiracies do not benefit the right is sad.

This Obama lead government does not know it butt from a hole in the ground. They are not smart enough to have a conspiracy that ends in murder of two veterans in a friendly fire on home soil.

They would need to make sure that the murder is killed by someone else already or suicide. They would also need to control the whole police force and every officer just in case the fall guy gives up his government contacts. He will have to play crazy for the rest of his life unless the government controls the people the he is around for his whole life. The only way the this government keeps thing quite is to have the Media arm not talk about it. They can not kept anything quite.

    • Ntr

That’s what you don’t get though. The interest in the nullification of the Second Amendment is backed by far more than just the Obama administration. There are entities, foreign and domestic, and governments who’d love to see Americans disarmed. For example, the Chinese state-controlled media has been very vocal about supporting gun control in this country.

      • TJ

No doubt there are foreign and domestic terrorists that want to remove guns in America. But they would not do what would be a unreported random shooting if not for Chris Kyle was the victim. The death of a high value target with a inside agent would do much more to push the agenda.

“Cuckoo: Right-wing conspiracy nuts out in force over Chris Kyle’s death”~aaaaaaaayep. It’s just another day…

    • Jack Zunino

Tifosies… those who rather riducule the ones who are willing to seek the truth are the ones who will someday find out the cold hard truth.

  • aegean1

I’m not saying the gov’t was involved, but yes, the murder IS suspicious. I’m sure Chris Kyle had many enemies, and perhaps a few fatwas, who’s to say this wasn’t a hit? We don’t know because the full truth hasn’t come out yet. Twitchy is being stupid in saying we should just assume it’s as the media is currently portraying it.

Whether you agree or not, calling fellow conservatives Right-wing conspiracy nuts is out of line .We are going to have to support each to defeat the left.I criticize no tactic or approach that helps to forward that goal

The Left uses Saul Alinsky tactics while our own side calls each other names. This is unacceptable.

Because you don’t have ethics and are a douchebag.

While i can’t agree that Obama himself had a part in this, because it’s more complicated than that, there is a strange air around the losses of Chris Kyle, Keith Ratliff, John Noveske and others. It’s not “far right” to question what’s going on involving these incidents. Especially when it seems to be the ‘far-right’ who are dismissing any sort of so-called “conspiracies.” It’s surprising how ‘heads in the sand’ people are about this.

We have no choice but to question first when we have a government, full of Democrats and Republicans, acting suspiciously.

I applaud the administrators of this website for not saying Obama administration was responsible. Even better calling out right wing extremists.

  • PWH

The psychopath in the WH is staying up late to work on undermining the 2nd Amendment. The Kyle assassination is just ANOTHER nefarious action by the psychopath to destroy the USA and reinforce his position as despot.
