If you cannot behave like adults we will have to take your toys away from you.

      ignorant comment

      • Joe W.

Its all that can be expected from the troll.

Any smart gun owner knows that it’s not a toy, moron.

    • http://pennyrobinsonfanclub.net/ PennyRobinsonFanClub

This is the legacy of your “healer of the nations” president.

      • RichardBlaine

Atlanta’s culture of violence pre-dates O by decades, but he seems to have done everything he could to encourage it. “…We bring a gun…”, indeed!

    • http://resministries.org/ Arthur E Jackson

Come and get it….but only after its empty.

    • http://pennyrobinsonfanclub.net/ PennyRobinsonFanClub

Speaking of toys — do your butt plugs take C or D batteries? Or do you have the heavy-duty industrial model that plugs into a wall socket on the other end?

      • DontMetaDataMeBro

        Diesel fuel powered.

    • ClarkFL

How about all of Obama’s democrat base voters in Chicago? Why don’t you walk into their neighborhoods and demand their guns first? We’ll see if you even make it an hour. Try taking criminals guns away first before you try and target law-abiding citizens: the decent people, unlike yourself. #LiberalsAreCowards

    • $35072932

Yeah, so let’s punish 120 Million innocent people because of a few criminals – yeah that makes sense.

    • tcvegas

I will guarantee you that the school is a “gun free zone”….as usual…by the way Mark…are YOU going to come and “take our toys away”?

    • vino veritas

Since when are violent criminals expected to behave like ‘adults’? Armed guards and security checkpoints have prevented this before and could have done so today. Those ‘toys’ could have, in the right hands, stopped this immediately.

whenever you are man enough to try, step up.

    • NachoCheese (D)

Of course you would view control on those terms, you believe the government is your mother.

    • redheadgrl

Those involved in today’s incident are middle-schoolers, not adults.

    • redheadgrl

Also, the ARMED police officer on duty as the school Resource Officer today disarmed the shooter and took him into custody. It happened outside of the school building, but on school property.

  • SineWaveII

Copycats encouraged by the “news”-media. They never learn.

    • $35072932

Does the BSM ever consider that their glorification of these perpetrators of these massacres only encourages copycat crimes?

But it’s likely they don’t care – it only adds fuel to the fire forever-expansive government that infringes on the people’s rights.

      • SineWaveII

Yep all that they care about is whether it supports the narrative needed to push the left-wing agenda. Nothing else matters.

    • bonnieblue2A

Were the State Run Media to be responsible in its use of the 1st Amendment, they would not mention the names of these murderous thugs and deny them the infamy they seek.

      • walterc

If the police would just name every suspect as Barack Obama, the media wouldn’t even cover the shooting, much less give the shooter any press. Am I right?

      • SineWaveII

        You got that right

  • http://pennyrobinsonfanclub.net/ PennyRobinsonFanClub

I ran across info a few weeks back, need to go back and dig it up and do a little research, suggesting that almost all of these shooters were on Prozac, Ritalin, or one of a handful of other popular meds. Anybody else run across that?

    • eick74

Think it was Mother Jones that did the research that said something like 34 of 51 mass shooters had some kind of mental illness.

  • 1972patriot

Okay now twitchy… it is not yet 7:35 PM in Atlanta on Jan 31, 2013. Wassup?

  • Teritd

Kids don’t fear anything anymore. Who’s to blame for that? What are we teaching our kids?

  • RichardBlaine

Watching WSB live coverage right now. Facts are still in flux. Press briefing delayed. Who knows what’s really going on.

Of course, this is all because of the guns. Nothing to do with the culture of violence in a city where councilmen threaten to “cut” one another during council meetings, where school board members threaten to “slug” reporters on live TV, where street preachers stockpile weapons, where school systems have accreditation yanked because of school board infighting… I could go on, but why.

Kids are shot, stabbed, beaten every night in Atlanta. In it’s inner city communities, people sleep on the floor for fear of random gunfire. An infant was shot in the head while sleeping, recently. This is life in Atlanta. To question it is RACIST!

This time, the shooting was outside a school. So now national media care. Otherwise, it’s a typical day in Atlanta. Damn.

    • RichardBlaine

Georgia is a really nice place to live and work. That third world cesspool contained within the I-285 beltway has nothing to do with the rest of the state.

BTW- It’s reported that the school has metal detectors. Shooting occurred outside the school. No word on if the school had guards.

      • RichardBlaine

School releasing students now. Kids excitedly waving at news crews. Media clambering for interviews. WAGA asked parent what she thought, cut sound when she unleashed a torrent of curses.

        • RichardBlaine

WAGA now reporting that the shooter was a “small child”, “hiding in the grass”.

          • RichardBlaine

Report: School had “Resource Officer”, very much involved in events today.

          • RichardBlaine

“Everything’s over” at the school. Reporters will remain on-site to do their pointless live stand-ups for the ten & eleven o’clock news.

          • RichardBlaine

Spokesman: “Resource Officers” are off-duty Atlanta Police Officers, and are armed.

Superintendent says “This was a shooting at a school, not a school shooting”.

Kid being interviewed says he “heard multiple gunshots from multiple directions”.

  • Jack Deth

What’s the over/under that the shooting is either (A) Gang related or (B) Over a girl?

What’s the over/under that the shooter is on school enforced prescription medications?

What’s the over/under that the shooter had recently been expelled?

What’s the over/under that the shooter comes from a single parent home?

  • redheadgrl

Also in the press conference, the Resource Officer on duty today is an active police officer and ARMED. He was able to disarm the shooter and take him into custody.

    • vino veritas

That inconvenient little fact is something the MSM will be burying as much as possible in order to manipulate this tragedy for the left’s 2nd amendment squashing agenda.

      • redheadgrl

Right. All the reporting I’m hearing now says the Resource Officer apprehended the shooter, no mention that he was armed.

  • texaswc

SineWavell beat me to the punch…gee, thanks…seriously though, Sine is right, copycats are being encouraged, by many sources…and by many means…the fact is, as the debate continues in Congress, we’ll probably see more and more of these…and the sad part is, no amount of gun laws would stop any of these latest shootings…where did a teenager get his gun? Gangs? Maybe he broke into dad’s gun safe? He couldn’t buy one legally….but the media won’t get that part….
