Michael Reagan: Relax, my father’s childhood homes are safe from Obama’s library

A piece posted on the Washington Times website last weekend set up what looked like the ultimate political showdown of modern times: no, not Obama vs. Romney, but Obama vs. Reagan. As the story goes, Ronald Reagan’s childhood home in Chicago was in danger of being demolished to make room for Barack Obama’s presidential library.

Today, though, Reagan’s son Michael asked followers not to buy into the story, which appeared as part of the Times’ contributor-created and edited “Communities” site.

Reagan was born in Tampico, Ill., and raised in Dixon.

We hate Chicago when it’s Obama’s hometown (see Drudge any day) but we love it when it’s Reagan’s. i think that’s called cognitive dissonance.

No sane person loves shicago, even those that live there many times wish they could get out.

What was it like when each of them lived there?

Good, now how many guns will it take to prevent Bamy’s library of cds being vandilized, because so many of his people can’t read.

Obama’s hometown is somewhere in Kenya; he can put all the libraries he wants to there.

HAHAAHA. It just makes me giddy everytime a conservative finds their next “GOTCHA!” and it gets shot down by their own team. Every.Time. My 4 year old displays better coping skills and far less whining than most Conservatives.
