That’s right. First, President Empty Chair didn’t bother meeting with the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. He has “a lot on his plate,” you see. Now, it’s being completely nixed. Laser-like focus on jobs? Members of his jobs council couldn’t even save their own jobs!
The jobs council was set to expire. Now the news comes that it won’t be renewed.
The upside of the WH shutting down the jobs council is how much time that's going to free up on people's schedules.—

Oh, snap. More time for golf! Of course, that really didn’t matter. It’s not like President Obama took the time out to meet with them anyway.
So Obama ends jobs council he never attended in favor of 100+ rounds of golf, as economy contracts.—

The Jobs Council is no longer necessary, anyway. Yesterday, we achieved the rare and elusive negative GDP growth. Success!—

Hey, the White House told us yesterday that the economy is “poised” for growth and job creation. They just forgot to mention that to, you know, the jobs council.
