Conn. Sen. Beth Bye plays Twitter ‘drinking game’ during gun hearing, deletes account

While the story of the heckling that wasn’t a heckling at a Connecticut hearing on guns was making the rounds of just about every cable news channel and Left-leaning website yesterday, another tidbit from that meeting has been leaking out slowly. While Second Amendment supporters answering a question have been branded nationally as “animals” exhibiting “repulsive” behavior, Connecticut state senator Beth Bye is coming under fire for posting to Twitter and Facebook during that same meeting, according to Courant.com.

Sen. Chris Murphy, co-sponsor with Sen. Dianne Feinstein of the 2013 assault weapons ban legislation, was quick to jump to Bye’s defense.

Is this really a story? Newtown father Neil Heslin being “shouted down” certainly was. If answering Heslin’s question was disrespectful enough to incite national outrage, Bye’s posts during the meeting certainly count as newsworthy. Screenshots show her participating in a “drinking game” during testimony.

Courant.com reports that Bye deleted her Twitter accounted after she received “several profanity-laced Twitter and email messages from all over the country.”

I don’t imagine there were many of her supporters keeping up with her in the drinking game. I do believe booze is exempt from food stamps. Oh wait, they were using KoolAid and that is an allowed purchase. Never mind. Carry on.

Somehow you can afford alcohol and cigarettes when taxpayers pay for everything else.

Well, ya got a point there. Plus I forgot about the debit cards they have that receive monthly cash deposits to use as they choose (courtesy of us) and how the Baby Mamas lie about living with the Baby Daddys so they get use of welfare plus Baby Daddy’s income. If only I’d had the balls to become an unwed welfare mother in my youth, my hair and nails would always look amazing!

You get what you vote for, in this case they elected a worthless idiot. So they wasted their vote and their money.

Murphy admits to dereliction of duty? Looks like Connecticut needs to find someone that pays attention to the bills he passes without reading.

You know, if I was caught on Facebook or on Twitter on the job, I’d be fired, immediately. That needs to happen to our public officials. Fat chance of that ever happening.

And sadly, Ms. Bye’s wife cut out the editorials she didn’t want to face in her newspaper, and her constituents are fawning over her on her FB page for what an exemplary rep she is. Nauseating.

This boozy carpetbagger has resurfaced with a new twitter skin. She is now hiding out as @beth_bye, it would seem. Taxpayers should let her know what we think of her disgusting conduct on work time.

Well, they say that downloading Internet porn is the favorite past time of government employees.

Confiscate her laptop and find out.

I love it when politicians shed their campaign mode skin and reveal what they really think. Apparently, they despise being reminded that their demands to violate the constitution is NOT law abiding.

The truly disappointing part is that her left wing friends reflexively jump to her defense by lowering of the bar: “hey if you’re going to go after people who slack off or snort coke at work, count me in.” Come on, we all do it!

Here’s a little life advice. Associate with people who see the potential in you, not people who aspire merely to meet the minimum requirements in life, people who make you comfortable with your failings (and I speak as someone with many failings).

It’s time to cut loose from democrat rule. They are dragging us all down.

Leftwing lower bar? What bar! That bar is only for those opposed to their views

Just another reason why I hate politicians.
