New York to lose ‘No Honking’ signs; Dana Perino laments loss of ‘the look’

New York City will soon have no more “no honking” signs.

Heh. Perhaps that is why they are just being removed?

Twitter users think Fox News contributor and former Bush press secretary Dana Perino had a better plan regardless. The dreaded “look.”

Are you sure? It can be scary!

But, rest easy! There will be plenty of opportunities to continue giving that look, Dana, even without the honking scofflaws.

Heh.

I predict a rash of “Honk If You…” campaigns to follow, and escalate in size. Pedestrians will retaliate with hand-held airhorns. After 73 days of continuous cacophony, the Mayor will cut a deal with Bose to install noise-cancelling transmitters in every parking meter.

Removed at a cost of how many million $?

Well they will be taken down by unionized, city workers, so the cost can be amortized over a couple of decades. They may be halfway finished by the time another administration wants them put back up.

We have a winner! Not to mention that when they go back up, they will be newly redesigned so those remaining up will still have to come down.

They took the “no honking” signs down? I guess the geese finally flew South for the winter, in spite of global warming.

No honking signs deemed useless.Did they really lack the ability to predict the outcome of this social experiment?

I can’t imagine someone offering this up as an idea in front of me without exploding in laughter at the thought of people obeying the sign’s command. In New York City?

    BAhahaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Ho hum. Yet another story that shows New Yorkers think the entire world revolves around them and that everyone outside NY (specifically Manhattan) is deeply concerned with the petty goings on in the Big Apple.
