NRO’s Kathryn Jean Lopez live-tweets Vigil for Life from Washington

The 40th annual March for Life hits the streets of Washington, D.C., tomorrow, and crowds packed the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception tonight for a mass and prayer vigil. National Review’s Kathryn Jean Lopez attended and provided some stunning photos of the event.

Beautiful pictures! I don’t think too many Americans consider abortion a necessary evil. I think the real problem is that too many Catholics have compromised their faith for political gain. Like Joe Biden, Teddy Kennedy, Jennifer Granholm, Donna Brazille, etc., etc., etc.

And, it’s a shame that we have a president who doesn’t know (or doesn’t want to say) when life begins, but yet unabashedly supports abortion.

While Abortion is abhorrent, shame goes with it for the solicitation, encouragement of women in blighted and poverty stricken areas – preying on their ignorance and fear.
