Actor Adam Baldwin responds to debt limit vote with pic: House votes to suspend Constitution

As we reported earlier, the House voted to kick the can down the road once again.

Actor Adam Baldwin responded as only he can.

Indeed. Bravely running away is more important.

Feckless, once again. No bravery from the Democrats, either.

  • NachoCheese (D)

Ahhh those “brave” Democrat representatives voting no once the bill’s passage is secured. Nothing says “taking a brave moral stand”, like doing so only once it’s futility is guaranteed.

If a GOP congressman grew a spine, they’d call him a witch and vote to burn him at the stake in 2024.

  • Cold War Grunt

Note to Boo-Hoo Boehner — take the “nay” votes first.

  • John (it true me am)

Get a list of Republicans who voted No. Weed out any who voted no for the same reason as the Democrats..
    Bam, 2016 candidate list.

  • ceemack

I sent my Congresscritter an e-mail telling him that I took his oath of office seriously even if he didn’t, and that I’d remember his “aye” vote during the 2014 primary.

  • rogueco

My GOP rep posted a statement saying how proud he was to support the “No Budget No Pay” act, because it would lead to fiscal responsibility. He forgot to mention however the $250Billion in debt he just signed off on. Pesky details.

On the other hand, I think I am beginning to see why politicians want to take our guns away as soon as possible.

  • almarquardt

But, but, I thought the Republicans were the party of “No.”

    • Ronald

      Good point.

  • peteee363

don’t just take thier pay, take away all the perks too, and make them pay thier staff out of thier own pockets!

  • BeeKaaay

MORE PROOF that the RINOpublican party is full of Marxists.

    • Ronald

Marxists here, marxists there, marxists everywhere! I agree with the rino part though.

    • Shawn Smith

Nah, it’s not Marxism; that’s a definite philosophy. I suspect Republicans generally arrive in D.C. as genuine conservatives, but find out (consciously or no) that conservatism means willingly turning down power at every turn. Very few men are good enough to do that. Therefore, they’re not Marxists, they’re ordinary, weak-willed men who like the power they’ve been granted.

      • BeeKaaay

So in other words, we have politicians being bribed (by power) if they do what the Marxists tell them to do.

        That is DEFINITELY Marxism.

  • Rulz

    Adam Baldwin simply rocks!

  • stillinthe60s

    The “Gutting Our Principles” party!

  • stillinthe60s

What difference does it make? Question I need answered by November 2014 if these clowns want my vote.

  • annoyinglittletwerp

My GOP congressman was one of the ‘nay’ votes. I’m glad that he got it right.

  • SpinMeNot

I was not aware there was a conservative Baldwin brother until finding this site. I’ve finished watching Firefly and Serenity .. add me to the list of folks that are true fans of Mr. Adam Baldwin. I wonder what his parents did differently with him …

You have to respect a man that speaks truth, regardless of the consequences.

    • Kleverabevera

No. He is not any kin to Alec. See Full Metal Jacket. He plays Animal Mother. Or, for the lighter side of Adam Baldwin. The movie My bodyguard 1983.

      • SpinMeNot

Thanks for the info, and the recommendations. I took one look at his face and thought I saw a family resemblance. I’ve seen “My Bodyguard”, and didn’t put the face of the bodyguard to him, nor did I place him in FMJ, but now that you’ve pointed it out … doh.

        • Kleverabevera

My pleasure I thought he was a Alec Brother too up until about a month ago.

    • Sam

You should watch Chuck next, his character is tough, intelligent, and conservative. The star, Zachary Levi, is also a conservative Christian. You’d love it.

I’m sure it will all magically work out….

All spending should be voted on by filing taxes…a “yes” vote personally obligates an individual to be taxed accordingly.

Only those paying should be voting on spending…not the irresponsible kids with a no limit credit card.

Was I seeing things? I swear that at the innauguration, after Boehner handed Obama a flag, he also slipped Obama his testicles.

    • BeeKaaay

Boner can’t give Obama something he didn’t have in the first place.
