Oops: Chuck Grassley live-tweets inauguration hours after it ends

Sen. Chuck Grassley was among the non-shameful Republicans who attended President Obama’s inauguration ceremony this morning. He sent out these on-scene reports:

And then … that was it. For a while, at least. At 3:44 p.m., several hours after the inauguration ceremony concluded, the “live tweets” resumed:

Don’t ever change, Senator.

I’ve never met him but I bet he’s the sweetest man.

Twitter seems like it’s having issues… whenever Ive gone to load my timeline, the ‘newest’ tweets are at least 45 minutes old… but that won’t stop Team Twitchy from making fun of a fine Senator.

Maybe he lost reception and the tweets didn’t send until it came back.

He gets an A for effort though =)

Twitter is having issues. I blame that.

That’s what I figured. Oftentimes I’ll have a tweet that gets saved in Drafts due to signal or connection issues. The cell system was likely bogged with data. Sen. Grasseley likely sent all the drafts simultaneously.
