Guns as a public health issue? Wonder if gun control will fall under Obamacare preventative medicine jurisdiction...

Well, wonder no more. While, oddly enough, Obamacare contains a provision preventing the government from collecting information about individuals’ “lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition,” President Gun-Grabber may have found a way around that inconvenient little snag — by having doctors do the dirty work:
One of Pres Obama's 23 Executive Actions today clarifies that ObamaCare allows doctors to ask their patients about guns in their homes.—

Executive Order 16: Clarify that the #Obamacare does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.—

A convergence of Obamacare and gun control? What could go wrong?
As we ALL predicted, Obamacare is about 2B used to control U. Docs will have 2 ask if U own guns & report that & ur medical records to Gov.—

@rushlimbaugh doctors barely spend time with patients as it is. So now half that little time is gonna be about guns instead of health?—

Using #ObamaCare to control guns is just the first step of controlling many aspects of or lives. Obama is WAY overreaching. #tcot—

I'm so sure the Chicago docs will be asking the gangbangers in the ER about guns in their shacks—

Of course they will.
Pardon us for asking, but why is this any of doctors’ business?
@NewsNinja2012 Doctors asking if their patients have guns in the home. That is a bad idea It is nobody's business what I own. #NRA #Vet—

Doctors can now ask and report how many guns their patients own. Hmmmm I'll be damned if my doctor asked me that, its an invasion of privacy—

Obamacare rules or not, my answer to a doctor about guns in my home is "None of your damn business." #caring #2A #tcot—

Exactly.
Meanwhile, a little reminder about The Lightbringer’s commitment to our fiscal health:
So: balancing the budget = impossible; using doctors to inventory the guns of citizens = piece of cake.—
