Kudos, Mr. Manning.

Classy gesture from Manning, Now if Lewis would just have the class to speak about his Atlanta murder victims.

Not sure what the parable of the lost son has to do with this?

        • Justin Case

          Redemption.

          • Wade Smith

            Redemption requires confession and rependance.

I love the Manning brothers. They’re both class acts. So unfortunate that can’t be said for a certain segment of the male population today.

    • Justin Case

Yeah, he’s a spotless class act. Except for that sexual harassment charge he settled out of court for $300k with his female trainer at UT. http://www.lmwlostmyway.com/4-sex-scandals-in-sports-that-we-all-forget.html
      #3 on the list.

I wonder what your circle of friends have to say about your humility?

John 8:11. You really give Christians and Christianity a bad rep.

        • Catchance

Oh, he’s not a Christian… he just likes to pull up various scriptures and pretend that he knows what they’re about.

It figures! You just have to take a classy moment and make ignorant remarks!

        • wwbdinct

He couldn’t hope to have the class that Peyton and Eli have. You know how envious these lefties can be.

      • Catchance

Actually, the $300k was the settlement she got in 1997 from UT, which included 33 players, coaches, and administrators. Her suit against Peyton didn’t come until 2 years after his book was published in 1992. She was suing for $15,000 because she said she was ‘disparaged’.

    • aztectrumpet

Agree Peyton is. But Eli? hahahahaha.

      • mcarVA

        Yeah, Eli is a tool.

When the impeached Bill Clinton was named Father of the Year, I went to the organization website to look for past winners! I found a number of reprobates and bad examples of fatherhood#! Hulk Hogan, Donald Trump, David Petraeus, Larry King, gun criminal David Gregory and of course everyone knows about John Edwards! Both John F Kennedy and Robert Kennedy were on the list of past winners!

The past winners also included, obviously, many good guys including Archie Manning. If anyone raised some good kids, it was Archie Manning!

    Young people, watch and learn.

  • Kele Johnson

Peyton Manning is one of the classiest football players ever (along with
    LaDainian Tomlinson).

  • $23629333

Why no mention of Tim Tebow in the picture?

  • Obamaroid_Ointment

Isn’t that special? Is Peyton going to visit OJ in the offseason & congratulate him for getting away w/double murder too?

  • Peyton

Instead of the most feared Linebacker in the league, Lewis looks like he could be a librarian in this pick.

  • TheOriginalDonald

Good for him. Now RETIRE ALREADY, Peyton!

    • Michael Rice

      WHy?

      • TheOriginalDonald

Basically Peyton RETIRE ALREADY Manning is probably one of THE MOST OVERRATED QBs EVAH!

    • Michael Rice

      WHy?

Not sure I would arrange a private meeting with a guy who beat murder charges especially with my children. Ray Lewis will always be an unconvicted murderer in my mind. A starstruck, bumbling DA and a sheriff who lost, corrupted evidence all to aid a brother is why he is a free man today instead of on death row.

    • Justin Case

Peyton sexually abused a girl in college and then had his good old boys fire her when she stood up for herself. Wonder if he’ll tell his kids that story?

      • Catchance

He did expose himself to her, but did not get her fired. In 1997 she sued UT for $300k, citing 33 players, coaches, and administrators.

Which part? Dishonoring the poor? I don’t believe anyone is the above scenarios is poor. Being merciful? I’m not the one accusing anyone of anything (except, of course, you, for being less than truthful in your allegations…). Faith without works? Nope, I’m pretty good, there. Or perhaps you’re accusing me of being a prostitute? Sorry.

          • Justin Case

” My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.”
You don’t know Peyton or the girl or Ray. Why are you only defending one? Favoritism?
BTW The people abused by Jerry Sandusky are suing the university and the sports program. That’s how that works. You wrote earlier the girl won a $15k defamation of character judgement against Peyton after he wrote his book. She was fired for that. Can’t find any information about her having to pay him any money.
            Luke 23:34

          • Catchance

No, I was responding to your posts. Speaking of finding only the bad in one and only the good in the other (aka favoritism). She received $300k from UT on the condition that she leave, and then later sued Peyton directly. No, she certainly should not have been treated that way (by 33 men, no less) and she very probably deserved the money. That was not my point. My point was that you need to include ALL information if you’re going to slam someone in your posts.

I’m not the one who goes onto a website knowing that the views are going to be the opposite of mine, merely to stir up trouble.

Ray Lewis needs to learn a lesson from Peyton Manning on being a REAL man.
