But according to tweets from classmates, friends and loved ones, there was another hero on the scene: a student named Seth Fa’Agau who tried to stop shooting victim Bowe Cleveland from bleeding.

While his identity has not been confirmed by authorities, there is a varsity football player at Taft named Seth Fa’Agau. Members of the Taft community thanked Seth for his act of heroism.

Cleveland reportedly underwent surgery yesterday and is recovering in a Bakersfield, Calif., hospital. Authorities have not released his name, but many students have identified the teen victim as Bowe Cleveland.
