Sick Gawker stunt helps cement many gun owners’ opposition to registration

As Twitchy reported, online gossip rag Gawker published a two-year-old list of legal gun owners in New York City. The stunt left gun rights advocates fuming, and many are now more fiercely opposed than ever to gun registration:

Nice going, Gawker.

Gawker = where brains go to die

Gawker will be responsible for any break-ins at any of these homes for the next 6 weeks. Anyone burgled needs a really good lawyer (oxymoron alert).

oh criminals won’t go to THESE houses. they will go to houses NOT on the list – easy pickins

  • ChampionCapua

Actually that’s now a list of lost guns that: a) fell into the Hudson, b)were left in back seat of taxi c) given as presents to a family member, since deceased.

A good time to note that Gawker is part of a shell company that is incorporated in the Cayman Islands. They must be crazy wingnuts.

    Way to go, Gawker!

  • Lord Foggybottom

    Thanks, Gawker!

Always nice to see people receive the things and/or treatment they demand for others!!

I’ve noticed that the one thing Americans cherish more than anything else is their privacy and security. Many, many Democrats and Republicans from both sides of the aisle are angered by these issues, and the author of this piece is not going to find many friends in the NYC Metro area, I guarantee it. As a matter of fact, he may end up being run out of town altogether, or at the very least his life will become a living hell. Unlike the Journal News, which btw is considered PNG at this point, Cook is a single target for outrage, and New Yorkers will not hold back.
