The term “low-information voter” has been around for over 20 years, but we certainly are hearing it a lot lately. As masses look forward to Obama’s inauguration Jan. 21 while simultaneously scratching their heads over smaller paychecks and higher insurance premiums, it’s not difficult to imagine why the term has come roaring back.
So, just what’s going on inside the head of the low-information voter? We turned to Twitter for a look into #LowInformationVoterThoughts.

Turns out there are thousands and thousands of thoughts buzzing around inside the low-information voter’s head. No wonder they got so confused back in November. Keep the thoughts coming, but be careful.
Apparently I channel #LowInformationVoterThoughts too accurately as I've already had someone attack me for how stupid the thought was.—
