CBS' Mark Knoller knocks most transparent administration ever for closed-door fiscal cliff talks

Remember back in 2008 when candidate Obama said he’d lead the most transparent administration evah? CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller does.

But … but … weren’t negotiations supposed to be televised on C-SPAN so we’d all get to see exactly how the sausage is made?

It didn’t happen with Obamacare negotiations and the same goes for the fiscal cliff talks. Put on your shocked face.

wasnt this guy a lap dog?

These clowns no longer surprise me. My belief in Santa is stronger than my trust of their integrity.

Poor, poor Mark Knoller: CBS’s special snowflake.

He seems to have forgotten that “closed door” tactics are a favorite of the Obama administration.

Where were his complaints when locks were changed and Republicans were denied access to chambers when Democrats caucused, conspired, voted and rammed Obama Care down Americans’ throats?!!!

    Unreal. What happened to transparency

    • Jack Deth

      Hi, Shawn:

“Transparency” is a completely made-up, fictional term created by liberals. A warm fuzzy that really isn’t there. Similar to “For the children!”.

“Like Eskimos and Leprechauns” to quote Homer Simpson.

Maybe if the media weren’t so in love with this guy they could collectively call him out on this crap. Oh, but then again, if they weren’t so in love with this guy he wouldn’t be elected.

  • Stephen K

Sure would be nice if the lapdog media would just STFU and wait for the Obama-approved talking points like they always do, instead of whining like a bunch of children who didn’t get picked to be on one of the recess kickball teams.

It’s not like they’d do anything but push the Obama-approved talking points anyway, even if they were allowed to cover the meeting.

Look on the bright side. Now that we have four years of historical data to look at, we can see the trend, and thus we can predict his behavior. When Obama says “I will do X” there is a virtual certainty that one of the following will occur:

    1. Obama will not do X
    2. Obama will do the opposite of X

Assertion: I will cut the deficit in half.

    Reality: He doubled the deficit.

      Love this.

To Obama, transparent means “I will do what I want, when and where I want.”
