If House Dems have anything to say about it, he’ll get his wish very soon. They’re urging a vote on a ban by this weekend.
Dianne Feinstein is committed to reinstating the federal assault weapons ban on the Senate side and is hoping her House counterparts pass legislation of their own.
Gun control proponents would certainly support it:
Guns don't kill people…NRA people who own Congress do ….they stop ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN.. STOP GUN REGULATION again,CONGRESS KILLS CHILDREN—

Bush/GOP congress drafted and passed a bill in one month to destroy USPS. Let's demand this same efficiency on banning assault weapons.—

The quicker, the better, right?
Any member of Congress that does not approve banning assault weapons and gun shows and all the other murdering crap should be thrown in jail—

Great idea! Or maybe it’d be easier to just ban all gun rights advocates in Congress. That’s probably a cause Rep. Jim Moran could get behind. It’d certainly cut down on the number of people around to question his ethics.
Of course he’s cool with a ban. As long as he’s still allowed to use his fists, he’ll be just fine.
