Rep. Justin Amash: 'When in doubt, vote no'

It’s been 30 years since first lady Nancy Reagan encouraged us to “just say no,” and if Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) has his way, “no” might be making a comeback. Amash was recently booted from the House Budget Committee by House Speaker John Boehner in the run up to the fiscal cliff negotiations, and we get the feeling Boehner shouldn’t count on a vote from Amash.

Amash’s followers give “no” a big thumbs up.

Nothing to “doubt” Just vote NO on caving in. Period. We are BROKE, dammit. That means we have no freaking money left to squander on “investments” in our unions and teacher’s pensions or vacations to Hawaii. Just vote NO and let us go over the dammed cliff. Stop spending what we do not have and quit trying to take more from people who already pay tons more than their “fair share”

Somebody’s got to be the adult in the house (in the House, too) and take away the credit card.
