Anti-gun vulture Michael Moore swoops in, says NRA hates freedom, wants children dead

As Twitchy reported, ghoulish media hacks and lefty celebrities have spent today descending on the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, like flies. Gun control zealot Michael Moore is among the most depraved of them all. He’s taken to Twitter to exploit the deaths of 27 innocent people for political points:

Get that? The NRA wants your children dead.

That’s exactly what he thinks.

And that makes it OK?

That attitude is incredibly dangerous. By taking the responsibility away from the individual and placing it on a gun, what kind of message does that send? How do anti-gun activists expect to stop violence when they refuse to condemn the people who commit violent acts?

And who does Moore think he is? Plenty of Twitterers have a damn good idea, and they’re taking him to woodshed where he belongs:

That’s never stopped him before.

Well said. Too bad Moore is incapable of rational thought.

We don’t know how morally bankrupt Moore is able to look at himself. Cretin.

Someone needs to call Michael Moore up and pretend to be the Queen. Please.

    Michael Moore needs an enema.

Do that and you could fit him in a matchbox

I’m actually looking forward to the day when gun violence meets Michael Moore up close and personal. It’s coming. And if anybodyh deserves it – it’s him. Piece of shit.

    • Rabid

The Really sad part? My fellow veterans, and those serving take an Oath to defend the Constitution…. so he’s free to spew his bullshit, while pissing on those who died to give him that freedom

    • LochGates44

Won’t happen because he’s protected by armed security.

I checked with Congressman Hank Johnson and he confirms that Cuba really would capsize as soon as the SS Moore stepped ashore.

The boats to there have a weight limit.

Seems like it’s illegal to go into a classroom and kill all the children. Maybe it’s different in lib states but it just seems like there are laws against that kinda thing. Soooooo if a person is willing to shoot up a class room full of kids how is another gun law supposed to stop him?

  • Jim Wafwot

Collateral damage from the demise of Hostess. Moore isn’t wasting time eating Twinkies and Ding Dongs, giving him more time to spew his liberal horsecrap from his mansion in Michigan.

  • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

On a positive note, if there is one to be had, in this tragedy. This certainly makes a case for home-schooling. If more kids were home-schooled, and there were no public schools, then I suppose school shootings couldn’t happen. Prayers to the families of the victims.

He reminds me of the three witches in Shakespeare’s play: “Double , double, toil and trouble. Fire burns and cauldron bubbles.” He starts stirring the boiling pot of hate and trouble with his own hate and vitriolic language. His toungue is set onfire by hell itself.

Worst instance of school violence was in his state and didn’t involve a gun. Bath Township, MI, 1927, 45 dead in school explosion.

  • Hearns-Jackson-Hagler-Jones

I wonder when is the time? The NRA is reckless.

    • Sketti

Reckless how? What do you propose we do about guns? Who do you think should have them. e.g., police, secret service, armored car security, Hollywood body guards, etc?

      • Hearns-Jackson-Hagler-Jones

Actually I think law abiding citizens should have guns the NRA thinks everyone should have assault weapons.

        • journogal

And are you aware it’s the non-law abiding citizens who commit the gun crimes…

          • Hearns-Jackson-Hagler-Jones

Yes and we need a conversation about how to stop them from getting guns, the NRA does not want that conversation.

          • journogal

So the NRA wants criminals to have guns? Really?

        • Michael Rice

          Wrong..

        • Glenn Mayton

Just to bring to the argument that the ARs and the AKs that people are calling assult weapons are not assult weapons. They are made to look like one but they are no more dangerous than any other semi-auto rifle or handgun. The NRA is not saying everyone should own an assult weapon. They are saying don’t start messing with the 2nd Amendment. If they ban one type of gun today you can bet tomorrow they will go after another tomorrow.

        • 5n4k33y35

The problem is not the #NRA. Schools need security guards.

I cleaned the carpets in a Pizza Hut last Tuesday. Less than 2 hours after I left, they were robbed. This is why I am strapped when I work late night. If confronted, I’ll make sure my wife isn’t a widow and my kids aren’t fatherless.

    • Saddlebum

Don’t get me wrong, I totally agree with your mindset. But unfortunately, you might just wind up like George Zimmerman too. Seems like your darned if you do and darned if you don’t these days. Racism in the GZ case aside, I think ‘they’ are coming down hard on people who defend themselves more and more all the time.

      • NRPax

Saddlebum, it’s better to have a dead criminal and you standing in front of a cop saying “I was in fear for my life and wish to speak to my lawyer.”

        • Saddlebum

Yea, that’s what Zimmerman thought too. Now he is stuck in jail and begging for money to pay for his expenses, death threats and his whole life is on display to the public. He will be the rest of his life trying to recover from his act of self defense…..Just sayin
I bet Z wishes he had stayed in the car that night.

          • JustLikeAnimals

Having a gun and knowing when to use it are two entirely different concepts. I don’t know all the true details, but IMHO Zimmerman made a bad call. I don’t buy the head slamming against the pavement. I CCW and I can tell you that I would drop someone coming at me well before they got their hands on me.

I agree with you, however, that his first mistake was going after that kid. That’s a LEOs job. Call a cop. The kid was walking through the neighborhood. That’s not illegal and there was apparently no imminent threat to anyone by virtue of him being there. Zimmerman should have stayed a safe distance observing until the LEOs arrived.

Now, if you’re minding your own business and some clown jumps up intending to do you harm, tap-tap in the OC cavity. Righteous shoot. Sleep well.

Well I take it you saw the bloody photos of the back of his head and his face. Also, he did call the police. And he was retreating back to his vehicle when Trayvon Martin jumped him. I wish I was on this jury. It was a clean shoot as far as I’m concerned.

What we have here with Mr. Zimmerman is the power of white guilt to persecute an innocent man. There’s a reason the police didn’t file charges against him because that’s exactly how it looked to them too.

It wasn’t until Al Sharpton got in there screaming about racism that the pandering white liberal guilt-ridden democrats got in there and tried to fabricate a case against him with the help of MSNBC to kowtow to the black community.

Political points? Gun control is politics, but you act like politics has no business in this? Politics has EVERYTHING to do with this! When your in a recession you don’t say leave it to the people, no, you want government action! We need action if we are to prevent this! So don’t say its just people exploiting the situation! Its gun nuts ignoring it!

    • SDN

You may want government action; Americans aren’t so spineless.

    • Michael Rice

THe point is the bodies of these children were nto even cold and liberals were politicing it, just like republicans got slammed for supposedly doing with Benghazi.
Gun “nuts” are not ignoring it. We know the solution it is anti consittuional, liberty stealing morons such as yourself that won’t listen.

    • Guest

      Agreed.

    • Maxwell

Yeah government action. Crack down on illegal gun trade, or provide some type of mental health program (although I find therapy ineffective personally.) But restricting our 2nd amendment rights should not be the first course of action.

Also, if you don’t think the anit-gun crusaders wants to exploit this situation to spread fear among the masses, and swing them to their side… I would say you’re fairly naive.

I would ask Michael Moore and other celebrities and pundits on the left if they support abortion and organizations like Plan Parenthood. Most, of course, would say yes, then I would tell them I don’t care to be lecture to by hypocrites that show no concern or remorse at the countless millions of helpless baby victims of abortion and murder mills like Plan Parenthood, but will bark in our face about our callousness towards child victims when we express our desire to protect our 2nd Amendment right, when one of these horrible crimes occurs. These are many of the same people who also enthusiastically defend a child rapist who escaped justice, because, you know, I have no idea why they do it other than they see he is one of there own.

    • AdoEdem

I really wish I could upvote this more than once. Leftist outrage is highly selective: they only seem to be outraged when they can score cheap political points for their pet agendas. Yet for any atrocities such as Darfur or abortion, which either do nothing to advance those pet agendas or work against them? The silence is deafening.

Moreover, it’s that very eroding of culture and morality that they’re so proud of that’s responsible for this in the first place. I suspect all this sound and fury over gun control is really just a way to avoid an honest look in the mirror.

    • Guest

When I seen Obama trying to cry (don’t tears fall when you’re actually crying?) on T.V. all I could think is how he voted to remove all bans on abortions and made them legal all the way up to 9 months. He doesn’t cry for those murdered children. I also never seen him shed a tear for 4 dead Americans in Benghazi. He has an agenda like most liberals.

      • Guest

How do you know tears didn’t flow before the interview? Do you have special knowledge about Obama’s tear ducts?

        • JustLikeAnimals

          Let’s blame George W. Bush!

          • LordElrond09

While I understand President Bush’s desire to stay out of the spotlight after 8 years, he sure as hell could have done more to stanch the flow of conservative bashing coming out of this administration. This is another one of those questionable decisions I don’t understand.

A simple statement from him saying “I appreciate President Obama’s difficulty in the challenges he faces. However a leader must take responsibility for things as they are”. Yes they would have trashed him for that but this silent thing from him doesn’t work for me.

          • $36544368

So you would rather see Bush get involved in politics and have people slam him for merely breathing? That’s the way Bush is treated, and you know you’ve seen it for years. I’d rather see comments made when Obama doesn’t do his job by Conservatives (and Liberals!) who ARE in a position to change things (i.e., Congress, etc.)…press back on Obama a little bit…shake him up…make him see and hear what the American people are trying to convey to him. He’s the president at this moment, and he sure as hell isn’t doing his job on several levels…HE needs to hear that! Can you imagine Bush saying something like you suggested? The liberals would be all over him, slamming him for even opening his mouth…and I’m sure justanotheranima’s comment was sarcasm, not a springboard for you to post such a strange comment.

        • JustLikeAnimals

Michael Moore was born on the wrong side of the state. At least, that’s the joke in Grand Rapids and Traverse City.

He does know most police forces in China don’t carry guns. If they did, perhaps the man’s stabbing spree could have been cut short… mind you, this is just a theory.

I don’t see how people can respect this man…

  • DallenH

Over 10,000 fatalities in 2011 as a result of drunk driving. So should we ban cars because irresponsible people break the law and drive drunk? Ban alcohol? Tried that… didn’t work out to well.

  • 5n4k33y35

One thing every one of these mass murderers has in common is that they are not humble.

The killer was not a devotee of anything or anyone but himself. He worshiped himself and sacrificed children for his own grandiosity. He was like a king of primitive savages who orders servants to be killed for his tomb.

There is a kind of nihilism associated with renouncing faith, renouncing the moral guidance of religion, renouncing the concept of morality, renouncing the concept of meaningful life, renouncing even the belief in the reality of your own awareness.

Those who convince themselves they are not really aware, nor are the people around them really aware, may do irrational acts. We are real. We really can have joy or suffering based on the actions of others.

It will come out that the killer had mental problems known to the mother, per the brother. And that the mother he killed owned the guns and failed to secure them from her son. A TEACHER. Just like Columbine, Va. Tech, the movie shooter, the Gifford shooter and many others, who were KNOWN to be mentally unstable and who’s family, TEACHERS, acquaintances, even their own shrinks did nothing to protect society.

So by his logic, lets ban teachers, bad families and incompetent shrinks. And then the crazy will make a home made bomb and blow the entire building up. Or like the guy in China, use a knife to stab 22 students. You can’t escape evil, only guard and protect against it. If someone had a gun in China he wouldn’t have gotten to 22 victims.

    • DrDetroit

Just to let you know, the guy in China didn’t kill those students. They were just injured….but still……I get your point.

      • GTFOBigGovt

        Thanks! Fixed it.

      • Saddlebum

Yea, Piers Morgan made that same observation tonight while trying to make his argument with pro-gunners. The guy in China was in a slashing mood. If he had been in a stabbing mood, there would be 22 people just as dead as if he had shot them with a gun. The story I read said that the people were “slashed” and not stabbed.

Let’s look at this with reason. Guns are designed to protect people by wounding or killing armed threats to their life. Gun control nuts have stigmatized guns right out schools and other public institutions. Now, their employees have no means of protection from armed threats. So, every nut with an agenda of violence targets schools because nobody can stop them. Pretty clear to me who wants children dead to further an agenda.

Amazing that you just can’t get your tiny brain around the reality that when you kill a bad thing you protect a good thing.

        A case in point……..

On or about 1:34 p.m. on July 3, 2006 a man walked in on a burglary at his residence. He was jumped from behind and savagely stabbed 6 times (once in the left upper chest) before he finally drew his Glock and got seven rounds off. One of the perpetrators was apprehended when he showed up at the ER (while the homeowner was down the hall in a seven hour surgery). The other two were arrested the following day.

I’m very familiar with this story because it’s mine.

In his case it takes at least two mirrors, and they have to be positioned just right.

I want to kick the crap of some movie stars!!
On the same day of this horrible school shooting, I’m flipping through the channels and come across the movie, Lucky Number Slevin. It was 15 mins in to the movie and it shows a guy, with a handgun, sneak up behind a kid sitting in a school class room. He blows the kids brains out and it shows the splatter all over the wall that’s filled with the students artwork. Just one example of all the gun violence crap that was on TV, just today alone. But the same people that make millions of dollars making that junk are telling us to give up our gun rights as if what they do for a living isn’t a large part of the problem. Kids and adults alike are exposed to more gun violence on TV and at the movies than they are anywhere else. You want to know where people get the ideas to do stuff like what happened today? WATCH TV!! What kind of a twisted mind can
blame guns and gun laws in this country for the massacres when they make movies about it for a living and make millions doing it????!!!!!!!!!!!

All these Hollywood hypocrites are so busy blaming something else. Although, I don’t support censorship, we should turn the mirror on these hypocrites. They should blame much of Hollywood culture( with their films), which desensitizes, promotes, and glorifies violence, hatred, perversion, psychotic and sociopathic behavior. If they are urging for gun control, will they accept control and censorship on films which have more influence on a human psyche?

Leftwingwackos think that ripping a child from limb to limb is OK but shooting them is wrong.

Horrific Violence against children IS WRONG REGARDLESS OF THEIR AGE and must be outlawed, and punished!

This is something leftwingwackos never understand. They disagree with the above.

  • Tom Smith

I’m totally opposed to abortion, but in MM mothers case, I would have made an exception.

    • BeeKaaay

      Yet another bloodthirsty leftist.

  • Alexis Roncal

Thank god I don´t live in the USA! I’m pretty sure you don’t love the weapons but the money from the weapons. Politicians=businessmen deceiving population to fear everything.

  • Penmar

I would agree to have my tax dollars spent on free mental health care if Moore were 1st in line for treatment.

    • BeeKaaay

And if mental health care cured leftwingwackoism, I think we could find TONS of conservatives who would whip out their wallets and pay for them.

  • http://www.BizFlipCoach.com Paul Forsberg

    Moore is an IDIOT.
    Spineless IDIOT

    Posted elsewhere:

Why have most of these tragedies only occurred recently?

Repeating firearms have existed for over 150 years – the Colt revolver for example.

Why didn’t those kinds of massacres occur 150… 120.. 100 years ago?

Why didn’t these tragedies occur back when select fire – fully automatic weaponry were easily available?

Why do these tragedies almost always occur in “Gun-Free” zones – where the law-abiding are denied the right of self-defense?

And why do they happen a lot of the time in heavily Democratic states with that already have tight gun-control laws?

    • BeeKaaay

Because leftwingwackos are bloodthirsty. They love the idea of ordinary people being slaughtered at the hands of armed thugs.

There’s a mental image: Michael Moore as a mythical creature combining a vulture and a manatee. Hard to imagine such a creature becoming airborne let alone swooping in on anything – even something edible.

  • http://www.facebook.com/michael.dorstewitz Mike Dorstewitz

When Moore calls for “free mental health care,” I assume he’s referring to his own needs. But can’t he pay for it himself?

    • BeeKaaay

He’s a leftwingwacko. And under leftwingwackoism, you must impose your beliefs on others. Including costs of those beliefs.

That’s how he rolls. He wants to impose on others.

  • pbtruth

Granted what happened at this school was a tragedy and I am sure the left doesn’t understand the hypocrisy of what they are saying. They have killed thousands of defenseless children by cracking open their heads or throwing them on the floor of a closet to die of neglect. But in their sick minds that is OK, because they play word games and call it abortion. Infanticide is infanticide by any name you choose!

  • JackThomasAZ

Rich liberals fascists in the ruling elite, the lunatic fringe media, and celebutards like Moore want to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding Americans because they fear we will eventually turn our guns on them when they try to take the last of our freedoms. They are right.

  • BeeKaaay

It is leftwingwackos who want children dead.

When horrific violence is permitted to one group of children, it is
permitted to another. That’s why we should stand against horrific
violence against children REGARDLESS OF THEIR AGE.

Leftwingwackos disagree with that. They are bloodthirsty.

  • LordElrond09

Well he should do as he says and not have armed bodyguards around. What a fat hypocrite

  • WisconsinPatriot

Fat, incoherent, and stupid is NO way to go through life Mike. You need to try something else.

  • Rick Bowser

“The NRA hates freedom.”…yeah, and Michael Moore REALLY hates an all you can eat Buffet on half price night!

  • Fleendar the magnificent

Michael Moore is an ignorant, liberal POS. He,like most other actors, actresses and celebs have been brainwashed by the liberal kool aid.
Boycott Hollywood and these liberal scum.

  • Sharp Shtik

If intellectual colostomy bags a/k/a Democrats would practice some intellectual hygeine, including morality, then the thens of thousands of murders they commit each year would not happen. Democrats hate individual freedom and use any excuse, including their own crimes, to argue no one should be able to exercise their individual rights. Democrats are the enemy, including their Al Qaeda wing.

  • 5n4k33y35

Plenty of mentally ill people are humble and non-violent. Not this one.
