Racist union goons destroy Clint Tarver's hot dog business; Where are Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson?

As Twitchy reported, hot dog vendor Clint Tarver’s business was destroyed by union goons, hurling vicious racial epithets, in Michigan. “There will be blood,” you see. Most of the media swept the union-perpetrated violence under the rug. Predictable.

But Twitter users are wondering, “where are the alleged civil rights leaders?” Or the president?

President Obama? Ha! No “beer summit” expected.

Calls for Jackson and Sharpton to denounce the racist violence and support Mr. Tarver go unanswered, natch.

Bingo.

And where are they?

His shows, of course. Jackson, meanwhile, is busy canoodling and posting star-squee photos.

Union thugs destroying a black man’s business doesn’t suit their false narratives and political agenda. It’s totally okay to be racist thugs, if you have that sweet, sweet union money.

They care about black people as much as “feminists” care about women. >.<

    • Shawn Smith

I.e. they care about members of said groups who conform to “right thinking” and hold utter contempt for people who think otherwise. A black who doesn’t believe in affirmative action isn’t an independent thinker; he’s a race traitor. A woman who chooses, for her own life, to be a stay-at-home mom and love her husband and children isn’t making a valid decision for her own life; she’s “setting women back a hundred years.”

Why should it even matter that the guy was black??? YEEESH. The Union thugs were stomping on women, children and the elderly. All of it is wrong. Where is the “new civility” president?

  • JimmyNeutron

I’ve written about secession when that was a hot topic. My main premise was “I just have no desire to make a country with these people”. It doesn’t matter to me if we had R super-majorities in the Congress AND the White House. I just do not want to live in a place where the media, the government, and mobs like the union thugs can rampage and nothing is said or done. Tarver’s story to me is heartbreaking. The lack of response is enraging. Is it treason to think of secession? Some would think so. But, are we loyal to geography and a piece of red, white and blue laundry…or are we loyal to the ideas that our country was founded upon? I would argue that to NOT be in favor of secession in order to get back to the ideals of our founding would be treasonous.

    • http://www.facebook.com/michael.landi.35 Michael Landi

Secession is not treasonous. It is the most patriotic form of bravery and citizen response to a rogue and tyrannical government. After all, didn’t our founders secede from a monarchy? It will have to happen if we are to see America again as it was intended. We have to stop whining and bring the fight to them. Congress in NOT on our side. What we need is one governor to start the ball rolling.

        This whole idea is stupid

        • http://www.facebook.com/michael.landi.35 Michael Landi

I clicked on your name and looked at your past posts. Apparently, you are the definition of stupid.

Maybe you should go back a little further in history and give the mexicans back texas and if you go a little further head back to europe and leave the native american land to the Native Americans. I think most of you who are talking this trash are full of it. I assume all would have been fine if Romney would have won the election. Maybe you should get to know the real thugs that has America in this mess. Maybe you should meet the real thugs who recorded record profits while veterans come home busted up with no proper health care. You people make me sick with your lies and twisted truth

      • JimmyNeutron

I believe that is why Texans might be more amenable to secession generally – there have been six flags (Spain, France, Mexico, Republic of Texas, USA, CSA) – so we get restless to be under the same flag too long – don’t blame us, it’s natural. Perhaps we should get some government benefits for it. Part of my post was – “What are you loyal to, proud of, and want to defend (or in this case create)?” The left and right are drifting further apart. Split government seems to be the likely outcome going forward. I’m not sure anyone likes that. You on the left have certain goals and dreams. And I think that is great – I just don’t share them or in any way want to participate in them – but I have no desire to hold you back from them either. Likewise, I have the same things and no desire to be held back. I believe that any conservative, and any secessionist, has at their core a deep need NOT to impact what you want (that is the whole point of small government). I would no sooner want pinkos to have to live in an achievement-based meritocracy with limited government and high responsibility than I’d want to live in their social utopias. Seriously, a country where a man like Clint Tarver can have his livelihood attacked, be called racial slurs and have it ignored by everyone except Twitchy and Dana Loesch is NOT a place I want to be. Think of the old Dave Mason song “We Just Disagree” – that’s the theme. I’d be better to part ways and not hold you back from your socialist-democracy and we could have our radical form of government where we actually return to liberty and the constitution. Easy. Everyone wins.

        • fmahoney

You are a joke and a reflection of why texas is the least educated state in the union. Maybe you should study a bit of history my friend. Oh yea that’s right your from the state with the least educated population. Limited government, limited education, limited health care. We should let you guys go off on your own. Mexico will take their land back in less then 24 hours. The reality is your state is

          1. the lest educated

2 The population is fat diabetics with high cholesterol

          3. The gun violence will create and eye for an eye and the one eye man will rule

No education, unhealthy and one eye.

          Sad real sad

          • http://www.facebook.com/michael.landi.35 Michael Landi

Your stupidity continues to insult even a tapeworm. Texas is the 15th largest economy in the world and is the only state with their own power grid and air force. They have the largest national guard reserve in the country. They also have the biggest agricultural, cattle and mineral industry. They are ABSOLUTELY the most diversified state in terms of resources and industry. They would do fine on their own, and probably kick the other 49 state’s aszes because they got some attitude to go with it.

          • wwbdinct

Ummm.. it’s “least” not “lest”. Just thought you should know considering that you are criticizing someone for being uneducated.

          • wwbdinct

BTW – Mexico can’t stop the cartels from murdering thousands of their citizens every year. It’s highly doubtful they could take Texas in 24 hours.

          • waltzingmtilda

I don’t usually harp on typos (make them myself all the time) but:

            “1. the lest educated”

            Heh.

          • JimmyNeutron

This is about 25% as erudite as what I wrote. You have no argument to my basic premise except to throw out some figures you think may be correct because you heard it on MSNBC sometime. I answered you in a respectful tone, with an idea that secession could work for both sides. Actually, it can’t – the left NEEDS to have people whether they believe or are simply subjugated. There is no other way for a “progressive” society to work – it’s grist is people. What are your major objections to secession and/or some kind of restructuring? I can tell by your post that you have nothing but disdain for Texas – so wouldn’t you be glad to be rid of it? If you don’t like the people, or the choices they have made there, then why on earth would you want to remain joined with them?

      • http://www.facebook.com/michael.landi.35 Michael Landi

Hey stupid, the Native Americans crossed the Bering straits over from Siberia 10,000 years ago. There were over 500 different tribes and cultures – many of them warring and savage and scalped many colonialist heads of woman and children. Hardly civilized. Most of them were nomadic, held no treaties, created no boundaries and held no sovereignty. Hardly would call them native and certainly held no legal authority or possession of the land. Do yourself a favor, stay off of this site. You add nothing but your ignorance and you’re in over your head.

        • fmahoney

Hey smart person you have no idea what your talking about “Waring & Savages” your not serious are you? treaties??? Boundaries??? Your people almost wiped out an entire race!!! What in the world do you know about a civilized society? Over my head on a republican site? Not possible, the largest republican state in the union Texas is last in high school graduates and education. We all saw that idiot Rick Perry on prime time Mr. Oooops want to leave these beautiful United states? Don’t even think about it…

The reason why Sharpton & Jackson are staying away has absolutely nothing to do with this man’s politics — it’s all about supporting the collective over the individual.

          • carla5731

The problem is that his story reflects badly on the left’s precious unions. That’s why he’s being ignored. They don’t want to say who hurt him and why.

I think you all misunderstand Sharpton & Jackson.

It doesn’t really matter to them whether the guy’s skin is black, brown, yellow, chrome yellow (comicbook Ming the Merciless) or green.

It doesn’t matter what party affiliation or the sex of the person is to these tireless self-promoters.

Nope. What matters is how much money is to be pilfered & publicity is to be hogged down.

These “civil rights” pimps hog down publicity like a champion fooder vacuuming-up dogs at a hotdog eating contest.

The MSM has already put out the word that they’re embargoing the incidents resulting from the usual behavior of their union thugs friends. Hence these pimps know there’s no possibility of any publicity with which to leverage a payout.

    A simple formula:
    No Publicity = No Interest

    And that’s that.

Where are Sharpton and Jackson? The same place they are when black teenagers are killing each other on the west side of Chicago. This goes to show that error is error only as a distortion of orthodoxy.

Christians view the essence of a person as having an intellect and free will in the image of God.

Leftists get stuck in surface attributes of the person, attributes like skin color and sex organs.

To a Christian, to sin is to act in contradiction to your nature, that of a reasonable person with free will. Thus, the greatest sin is to conceive of yourself and act as something you are not. For example, to believe yourself to be, and act as if you were, the center of the universe. Some Christians view this under the category of pride, and recognize through scripture that pride is a capital sin.

To a leftist, to sin is to act in contradiction to your race or gender. Thus, the greatest sin to a black separatist is to appear to sympathize with people of a different color. The greatest sin to a feminist is to form your own opinion about abortion.

I’m basically saying the left has their anthropology all wrong. And from bad anthropology comes bad theology.

Sadly, we are living in a very bad theocracy right now, with really confused notions of right and wrong.

  • gracepmc

Keep repeating the same old big lies, because the alternative is admitting that Afghanistan and Iraq as as much the responsibility of the DEMOCRATS as the GOP and Bush.

You want to talk about patriotism? The day that Obama announced a firm date for withdrawing, every death and every dollar was rendered moot. When you tell an enemy all they have to do is lurk in their caves and hovels until the day arrives you’re walking away, YOU HAVE LOST EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ACHIEVED.

That is just a tiny part of Obama’s legacy.

Yeah, none of that money goes to support the red-states.

Same place where Twitchy gets it’s news, word of mouth.

As Han Solo once said… “Damn fool, I knew you were going to say that.”

In spite of the very real risk of opening myself up to insults from you, Bird, what do you think I’m going to say next?

          • Streetiebird

I think you’re going to say something like: “Wrong, that’s not at all what I was going to say.”

          • $36544368

No…actually I was going to say that it’s really hard to take you seriously, no matter what angle we try to take when talking with you. I really do feel sorry for you that you come to this board and inflame and incite…it reminds me of a fly buzzing around my head that I keep shooing away but it keeps coming back…it’s annoying, but the only way to stop it is to hit it with a flyswatter or move to another place away from where the fly is.

          • Streetiebird

            Thanks for you kind words.

    • wwbdinct

Ha ha. Let me get this straight – so the AFP people inside the tent deliberately kicked the supports down, the thugs went over to celebrate the tent’s demise but didn’t know there were people inside the tent? So….. if they didn’t know there were people inside the tent, how did they come up with the idea that someone from inside the tent kicked the supports? Nice try.

      • Streetiebird

FreedomWorks actually, but since neither side can confirm what happened, we’ll have to just assume the worst, that Obama personally brought the tent down to make a black guy lose his hotdogs.

        • wwbdinct

Umm… AFP can confirm what happened but it doesn’t look good for your side so you refuse to believe it. Or – you do know the truth but are just lying out of habit. No matter.

          • Streetiebird

Yes, the other witnesses confirmed what happened as well.

          • wwbdinct

Yes, the union thugs who provided the beatdowns. LOL

          • Streetiebird

After Crowder pushed him to the ground. So the Anti-Union Thug actually initiated the aggression, but I’m sure that doesn’t matter to you :)

          • wwbdinct

Uh no. If that was the case, Crowder would have been arrested by now. So I’m done with you now. But I know you’re not.

          • Streetiebird

Why did Crowder not even file a police report if he was so brutally attacked?
If you reply to this you have a mental illness. (two can play that game)

          • $36544368

Where’s the moderator on this one? You tell another poster if they reply to you they have a mental illness? What is it you like to say at the end of logical, truthful posts that you have no comeback on? I believe it’s “Awww, that’s precious” or “Thanks For Playing”…now you have nothing left but to insult someone like that? I hope wwbdinct does respond to you, because certainly no one here is afraid of what you may think of them. SMH…

          • WilliamAmos

Eh just ignore Streety and they will go away. I am watching and if anyone goes over the line I will ban them. I disagree with Streety but Streety has avoided being very offensive. But I agree above quote is a bit out of line. Dont do it again Streety.

          • $36544368

Sorry…not trying to cause trouble or be a brat…just trying to learn here too! Still new to Twitchy.

          • $36544368

Mr. Moderator – I’d like to think that ignoring Streety would make him/her go away…unfortunately, I don’t think that is going to happen. Streety posts things (it seems) to inflame and incite…when we ignore his/her comments, then we’re told by Streety that we don’t have a come back and that Streety’s opinions are correct and the truth…it’s almost like we have to defend ourselves or be thought of as not-quite-bright children…I know we don’t care about how someone thinks of us personally, but it really bums out the whole debate idea of this board and the ability to share opinions. It’s a little manipulative to me…but then I’m still sorta new to all of this.

          • WilliamAmos

Streety lives in their own little world and if claiming victory over a blog post keeps them sane then the world is a better place.

          • Streetiebird

LOL maybe you missed the part where wwbdinct did THE EXACT SAME THING to me, and went on to tell me I had a mental illness because I responded. Just trying to play along, but thanks for your outrage.

          • $36544368

Just to be fair, I looked at this entire page and didn’t see any place that wwbdinct did the ‘exact same thing’ to you. Thanks for my outrage? It is so incredibly hard to take you seriously in a discussion when you post things like that. I honestly don’t understand what you mean. You may be trying to be sarcastic, but it’s hard to tell, because I really, cannot follow your way of thinking. I love debate and looking at different ideas, but you really do confuse me.

          • Streetiebird

It wasn’t on this page, but thanks for playing :)

          • wwbdinct

Wait, Wait, it isn’t racism if it is coming from a dumbocrat. Only republicans can be racist. Just like only white people can be racist.

  • tjp77

The irony of ‘Big Pussy’ Bonpensiero meeting with Jessie Jackson is just too much, especially considering that the unions were portrayed in The Sopranos as pretty much an extension of the mafia.
