This may be the largest demonstration ever @ the State Capitol. 12,000-15K inside & out. So many teachers present, some schools had 2 close

Well, it wouldn’t be a Michigan union-orchestrated protest without hypocritical union-buster Michael Moore tossing in his two cents.
As Twitchy reported yesterday, thousands of public school students in Michigan are home today because teachers decided to call in “sick” so they could throw tantrums about right-to-work legislation at the state capitol.
How comforting to see teachers close
42 schools in MI so they can join the uprising re right-to-work legislation. They sure care. #Union—

As parents scrambled to find last-minute daycare, Michigan teachers ignored their students to cheer on Dem politicians warning right-to-work legislation would usher in a bloodbath. Three cheers for new tone!
Michael Moore thinks it’s awesome, natch. Citizens who believe in workplace freedom and care about education? Not so much.
@MMFlint How wonderful. Lets rob children of their education to fight against American's right to work.—

@MMFlint .. isn't that great … teachers care more about their union than their students @LyndonEvansFOTR #unionssuck—

@MMFlint so unions are more important than teaching kids? Good to know—
