Earlier today, The Michigan House Dems proudly quoted state Rep. Douglas Geiss’ oh-so-civil promise of “blood” over Michigan becoming a right-to-work state. Then they thought better of the tweet:
@MIHouseDems Did you guys really call for violence in a tweet and then delete it?—

Yes, yes they did. Silly Michigan Dems. Don’t you know Twitchy is forevah?
"We are going to undo 100 years of labor relations. And there will be blood. We will relive the Battle of the Overpass." -Geiss #SaveMI—

The tweet was deleted shortly after union goons followed through on that threat by Geiss.

While the tweet is gone from the @MIHouseDems feed, it’s definitely not forgotten.
@MIHouseDems you can delete tweets all you want. We have screenshots.—

Dear @MIHouseDems: Deleting a tweet doesn't make the problem go away. Once something's on the net, it lives for forever.—

@MIHouseDems All the cowards who delete tweets are always Liberals. Amazing lack of balls. And forethought, of course. Typical.—

Apparently MI State Rep Geiss said "there will be blood" if rtw passes. @MIHouseDems deleted tweet. They didn't realize that might look bad?—

Everyone should tell @MIHouseDems that deleting a Tweet encouraging violence isn't enough. They should apologize bit.ly/ZaWVhE—
Katy Abram (@katyabram) December 11, 2012
Is an apology forthcoming? We won’t hold our breath.
Update:
Conservative radio host Dana Loesch wonders if the Michigan House Democrats are OK with the violence taking place in Lansing today.
Hi, @mihousedems . Do you feel bad about the violence now after you were suggesting it on the floor and online?—
Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) December 11, 2012
Hi @mihousedems , is this what you were talking about with your "there will be blood" Tweet? youtu.be/GtbWbw66KrI—
Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) December 11, 2012
Hi @MIHouseDems , are you OK that a violent mob attacked a tent with people inside and shredded it? youtu.be/GtbWbw66KrI—

Good questions.
