Social networking site Tumblr hit by nasty viral worm

Nearly 9,000 Tumblr accounts have reportedly been infected by the virus. The virus is evidently spread when infected users see this message on their Tumblr page. When a user clicks on the message, the message is posted to his blog, and other users who visit an infected Tumblr site while logged in will have their blogs infected as well. An anti-blogging group calling itself the Gay Nigger Association of America (GNAA) has claimed responsibility.

Tumblr users are warning each other to log out of their accounts and avoid clicking suspicious links:

Tumblr has released a brief official statement:

There is a viral post circulating on Tumblr which begins “Dearest ‘Tumblr’ users”. If you have viewed this post, please log out of all browsers that may be using Tumblr immediately. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as swiftly as possible.  Thank you.

I know some people I used to talk to online are on Tumblr, and I hate to be like this, but I’m almost glad Tumblr got a virus. The site is controlled/dominated by left-wing loons. I just hope not too many people lose their computers.

I can see you’ve never actually used Tumblr. As someone who has: Tumblr is controlled/dominated by people. Most of them (not all, but this could be said about any social media) are normal people that like looking at art, fashion, book reviews, game reviews, TV shows, and cats. However, like with a family reunion, you get a large group of people together and the crazies come out. And believe it or not, they’re not ALL liberals. There are actually just as many crazy conservatives as there are crazy liberals, crazy libertarians, crazy fans, crazy everythings. Being glad that a site where that many people congregate on a daily basis got a virus is like being glad that someone’s church (that you don’t attend) got burned down. Not cool, kinda childish, and VERY selfish.

The Tumblr service is run by liberals and they promote a liberal agenda on the site and in their radar. You’re blind, stupid or a liar if you deny this.

  • Lord Foggybottom

I’ve used Tumblr for years and I can tell you from experience that it’s dominated by liberals. Stupid, batshit crazy, knee-jerk morons who reblog lies and propaganda on an hourly basis. I hope they’re reblogging the shit out of this right now and learning a lesson about thinking vs. reacting while their accounts explode. ahahahahahahaha!

I have an art blog on Tumblr and I used to follow a lot of other art blogs (some belonging to my friends) on my account. Unfortunately, the other “art” blogs would often post porn, liberal messages and content insulting conservatives on them instead of sticking to art and I just got sick of it all and unfollowed a ton of them. Sorry, but I don’t need posts from people living in Malaysia urging me to vote for Obama popping up in my feed. Barely use Tumblr anymore, lost contact with a lot of other artists, lost some friends. Being a conservative artist is a lonely existence.

As for Tumblr not being liberal, I strongly disagree. I can barely go anywhere on Tumblr without seeing a conservative or Republican-bashing post. Recently I went to a Tumblr blog celebrating a children’s toy brand and there was a reblog on it bashing Mitt Romney. The most popular Tumblr post of all time says “Mitt Romney sucks pass it on.”

    Oh dear lord.

I used tumblr for a few years and it is overrun by liberals and other mindless half-wits who do nothing but reblog bullshit propaganda. Calling them out on the lies became too time consuming. I recently deleted my blog and have no desire to return. I once cared about the community, however, I grew tired of reading the same crap from those who don’t care about facts. And I was sick of seeing all the reblogs of posts from that dopey twat, wil wheaton.

Wow, I deleted my Tumblr accounts only the other day … just in time!

It’s mostly porn … not that there’s anything wrong with that. 😮

“The Internet is for porn…the Internet is for porn…” 😛
