Disgraceful: Obama aide says with these Republicans we’d ‘still have slavery’; Chuck Todd finds it ‘smart, interesting’

Yes, lapdog Chuck Todd is at it again. This time, with more race-baiting! There will be some extra kibble in Chuckie’s bowl tonight.

Twitter users first quickly point out the idiocy of the remark itself.

They then give Chuck Todd the business.

Heh. Great point!

Oh, he didn’t even just let it pass. He praised it as “interesting” and from a “smart” aide. No, really.

“You’re going to like this,” MSNBC host Chuck Todd said this morning on TV. “So, I threw the Lincoln analogy at a close aide to the president last week, and he said, ‘You know, with this Republican, with the way politics of Washington are today, there’d still be slavery. Lincoln wouldn’t have been able to navigate the polarization between the media between this–‘ It was an interesting and depressing observation from this very smart White House aide.”

Why would anyone like a disgusting remark like that, Chuck?

Bingo. Chuck must agree with the shameful comments.

It is the state of alleged journalism today. Good lapdogs!

It’s a tough race to the bottom, but Chuck Todd is making a valiant effort!

Update: Aww, call the waahm-bulance!

  • WisconsinPatriot

50% of lefty’s have NO idea they were the ones who supported slavery, opposed the civil rights act(s), bore the KKK from their loins, etc, etc, etc. The other half are busily trying to cover it up. So Sad :(

    • Penmar

Sadder still is that they don’t see free phones, EBT cards and food stamps as more enslavement by the progressive libtards who never seem to have to abide by the laws they pass.

      • Cold War Grunt

Exactly right … do a search for CL Bryant and listen to a few of his talks/speeches. He does a great job in terms of discussing the “old plantation” vs. the “new plantation”.

        • Penmar

I did and what a wonderful speaker he is, we need more people like him.

      • GaryTheBrave

What most people don’t realize is that they are giving up MORE in freedom, liberty and rights than they receive in government handouts.

You want the government to give you some place to live? It won’t be a 20-acre farm. You want government to give you money? You won’t become a millionaire. You want the government to give you a free phone? It won’t be an iPhone or Android.

By choosing freedom you give yourself the opportunities to get such things. I’d suggest working on earning the million dollars first.

        • Ed

I explained this to my Dem girlfriend after seeing Lincoln.

It slowly is dawning on her. More intervention is needed though.

          • Junie3

Go check out Black & Right dot com. Lot’s of history there in an easy to read and comprehend fashion.
Covers the history of their racism quite well.

            October 13, 1858
During Lincoln-Douglas debates, U.S. Senator Stephen Douglas (D-IL) states: “I do not regard the Negro as my equal, and positively deny that he is my brother, or any kin to me whatever”; Douglas became Democratic Party’s 1860 presidential nominee

            April 16, 1862
President Lincoln signs bill abolishing slavery in District of Columbia; in Congress, 99% of Republicans vote yes, 83% of Democrats vote no
            So much more.

          • http://pennyrobinsonfanclub.net/ PennyRobinsonFanClub

Yes, excellent site. I’ve shared it here and elsewhere on numerous occasions. Of particular interest is the section “The Democrat Race Lie,” which covers that topic in particular, and I’m guessing is the bit where your quotes are from.

      • LukeAuwght

Penmar – I have to humbly disagree, as that is exactly where they want everyone to be. their mentality is to be indebted is to be enslaved.

      • Junie3

        Dependency leads to Bondage.

        • http://twitter.com/dialville Elizabeth Burtch

          Well written!

      • http://twitter.com/dialville Elizabeth Burtch

They don’t see taxing the so called “rich” is increased enslavement.Soon middle class will be taxed without boundaries. It all roles downhill. No one is exempt when the President wants to be a dictator & feels justified punishing those who don’t agree with him.

      • conservativechick

Pitting us against each other seems to work out well for them. I say always COUNTER with something that THEY have to turn down. Play the game of LOSE!

    • Garth Haycock

Only 50%? You’re giving them too much credit.

      • WisconsinPatriot

I thought I was being rather harsh. The ratio is probably less important than the definition of the two groups.

  • Ranadicus

I actually find it kind of telling that liberals are citing up the President who presided over the Civil War to demonstrate the kind of polarization Democrats have created on their watch.

  • GTFOBigGovt

That’s a false choice. But maybe he’ll have his wish after half the country is decimated and 2% of the population dies in the next Civil War between constitutional patriots v. the Socialist central planners, or the NEXT similar fight for secession. With any luck, he’ll even get to see Obama’s chops playing Lincoln, since he’s reminded us so many times that he’s just like him.

    • Cold War Grunt

You underestimate the body count … It will be much higher.

      • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

True, Dave. We’ve been buying ammo while they’ve been selling their EBT cards.

    • SineWaveII

      More like 20%

  • http://twitter.com/standsomemore StandSomeMore

Dred Scott case in supreme court (run by Democrats) ruled slavery legal. Lincoln (first Republican President) emancipated the slaves, and was then quickly assassinated by ……….. a Democrat. #justsayin

    • Jersdunz

well don’t leave out the current slavery in the books that dem obama made law Read 502.. http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/03/16/executive-order-national-defense-resources-preparedness

      • http://twitter.com/standsomemore StandSomeMore

      • Penmar

I read it, however, unlike other countries, Americans have the 2nd Amendment and members of the Military swear to uphold the constitution, not to uphold the president. Not to mention the very first section which reads: This order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended. So this has been around since 1950.

  • Steve_J

There was a Civil War faught over that issue. How stupid are the WH aide and F Chuck Todd?

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

The short answer to your question is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very…….

      • SineWaveII

        that too

    • SineWaveII

the adjective “very” comes to mind.

      • Mister A

Sorry to be technical, but “very” is an adverb (almost always an adverb). It modifies “stupid” which is an adjective. Either way, I agree.

        • SineWaveII

oops of course you’re right. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • SineWaveII

So what is Chuckie’s take on Egypt removing the ban on slavery from their constitution?

  • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeBeq0i03bg Booker

He was a “smart” Obama aide? It just goes to show you the level of intelligence of the Obama White House and the Obama camp in general.

    • http://twitter.com/bruce47w Bruce Warner

Isn’t that (“smart Obama aide”) an oxymoron?

      • lainer51

  • http://www.facebook.com/lisa.dean.564 Lisa Dean

I love that Obama hires aide’s that are just as good at projecting their behavior onto republicans as he is. If this aide is so smart how come they haven’t been made an adviser to the President?

    • WisconsinPatriot

OH PLEASE, do NOT give them any ideas!

      • $2942628

        . . . aint that the truth.

      • http://www.facebook.com/lisa.dean.564 Lisa Dean

        Sorry….#hangsheadinshame 😉

    • http://twitter.com/dialville Elizabeth Burtch

There’s no discrimination, that aide want’s an excuse to justify his reverse discrimination and lack of & poor performance on the job.

  • EOD

Sounds like Chuck Todd is in the running for the job of White House Press Secretary.
    Todd will fit right in.

  • tredglx

    Chuck Todd=Jorno-lism.
    Simple as that

    • ZoriahShepard

      At least he’s consistent! ha!

  • dcnj

it’s a “sound byte” a “talking point” but it’s enough to sway and make people believe.

It’s what won them the election…little pieces of ridiculous propaganda…subversive and effective.

and 90% are to stupid to take notice or care….the left delivers a constant barrage of this crap. They count on the stupid to “believe”.

    • WisconsinPatriot

And it works. Clearly it is effective.

  • rivers

Playing a little fantasy in my head right now involving Chuck Todd and the phrase “What’s the frequency, Kenneth?”.

    • lainer51

      Good point

  • Ed

This is a perfect time time to remind everyone that two out of the three Chief WH Correspondents for the Big three networks have worked on Democrat campaigns. Guess which two?

  • wwbdinct

But you didn’t REPORT anything Chuck Todd. You relayed a conversation with an aide who allegedly made such an inflammatory statement. Then you stated your opinion that this was a depressing observation made by an allegedly smart aide. So basically you just spewed out a whole lot of hot air, didn’t identify the aide by name who would make such an incendiary comment and then expect everyone to believe that is true and to top it all off, throw a Twitter hissy at those who would question your nonsense. Look in the mirror Todd – you, your station and the rest of your media comrades are directly responsible for the division in this country right now. None of you are journalists. You’re all merely Obama mouthpieces. Shame on every last one of you!

  • ejochs

But he’s not reporting anything. He is uncritically offering a statement and pushing it as somehow “smart” by use of his phrasing. What, exactly, is the news content of the statement? How about an unnamed R offering the opinion that Chuck Todd would blow Obama if offered the chance-would this be “provocative”, “smart”, “interesting” or “prophetic”?

  • Junie3

What was the party that a member of the Senate was a member of the KKK? Republican, no that’s not it. I think his name was Robert Byrd.

  • LiberalsRlying

MSNBC is stacked with race biters and race accusers.

  • SDN

Democrats still love slavery; just switch “plantation” to “collective”.

  • http://twitter.com/dialville Elizabeth Burtch

They are so ashamed of their comments that they never give names. ha… It’s always “someone” said. Typical Obama/Rice game to never take ownership.Does Todd feel superior defending a cause that’s non-existant?Blacks are the racists…listen to them talk behind closed doors & backs of whites/other races.

  • Tanker74

A smart WH aide told me Chuck Todd likes to wear a French maid’s dress while getting spanked by a burly man in a Nazi uniform. I found that interesting.

    • WisconsinPatriot

      …..and depressing???

  • http://twitter.com/ObamaLies2Much Obama Lies

Of course if the Dems WERE to be trying to pass an anti-slavery bill today, they would give it a misleading name that sounds great on paper. It would likely be over 2000 pages of legalese that mostly ignores any of the REAL problems with slavery, but instead is filled with billions of dollars in unrelated pork and several shady loopholes designed to bribe various people into voting for it, such as imposing fees on people that were not slave owners to assist with the financial hardships that slave owners were bound to have (these fees would later be upheld as Constitutional by the SCotUS and changed from being a “fee” to a “tax”). And even with all of that, STILL nobody on the Left would have read through it before voting on it.
Anyone who actually read through it and saw it for the cluster that it was would be cast as a racist for opposing such a wonderful thing, and none of the hidden crud in it would ever see the light of day in the mainstream media.
And finally, when it has no possible way of passing with the required super-majority (because of all those racists, of course), they would change the rules so that a simple majority can pass it.
And of course Mumblin’ Joe would have to call it a “Big F’n Deal” once it is passed.

  • 144Cent

Chuck Todd has been popping up a lot lately. Based on his comments, I’ve reached one conclusion about him: That’s not so much a “beard” as it is Obama skidmarks.

  • lainer51

    F. Chuck is such a hack.. just how hard up is MSDNC?

    • lillymckim

Very hard up they also have a show staring crackpots Toure and Krystal Ball!

  • TocksNedlog

Give him this much — at least Chuck Todd said ONE honest thing . . . “Whatever.”

  • Herman LaClair

isn’t todd precious?: “if you REPORT something, then you must believe it, too.” 1) he didn’t REPORT a godamned thing, and 2) he shows way too much glee when REPORTing this claptrap to NOT believe it. one major tool.

  • http://twitter.com/dillfran MsFrannieD

If stupid F. Chuck ever read history, it was the Dems who did NOT want the slaves freed.

  • http://profiles.google.com/trixlette Mary Jones

Here is the HISTORICAL FACTS of Democrats and Republicans where it comes to Racism and Slavery. The Democrats were the party of slavery and it was the Republicans who voted in mass to free them: http://www.black-and-right.com/the-democrat-race-lie/ Why to the libs spout such lies, they are the party of Slavery, history does not lie.

  • TonyMitch

Liberal white males are the biggest pussies in America. They constantly rant and rave and name call white conservatives. Yet, will never say one negative word about a minority man or woman. Even if the person went on a murder rampage killing whites. They would find some excuse other than blame the minority. most likely they would figure out a way to blame conservative white males.

  • Stephanie Warren

    Obama is NO Lincoln.
