Classy. As Twitchy readers know, Ricky Gervais, comedian and co-creator of the British “The Office” lets his idiocy show on Twitter and then swiftly deletes the evidence. Alas, Mr. Gervais, the internet is forever. He should learn to let people just think he’s a fool, rather than tweet and remove all doubt.
Earlier, he deleted several tweets, again spewing out “dopey cunt,” and declaring there is no God.
No God. Gervais has spoken.
@rickygervais ricky. your anti-religious stuff is amongst the most boring played out stuff I've ever had the misfortune of hearing!—

That’s not allowed, as Gervais soon makes known.
Ah, tolerance bullies! He wants to express his non-beliefs freely, but if you express your beliefs? Name-calling.
This Twitter user still continues to try to engage Mr. Gervais.
9 – You can do good in the world without believing in God. However, trying to convince others there is no God, not good.—

“@MaggieMay777:
Are you capable of having an intellectual interaction about God and life?”
Only if you promise to be logical.—
Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) December 02, 2012
“@GINGERHEAD2011: @maggiemay777 "logical?!" From whose aspect? Just saying! I have no idea about your dialog!”
Logic isn't subjective.—
Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) December 02, 2012
.@MaggieMay777 which God do you believe in?—
Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) December 02, 2012
“@MaggieMay777:
One that loves us all, unconditionally."Could he stop famine if he wanted?—
Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) December 02, 2012
“@MaggieMay777:
we are capable of stopping famine, if we wanted.”
That wasn't my question. Could God stop famine if he wanted?—
Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) December 02, 2012
“@MaggieMay777:
God could stop famine if WE wanted."Pointless. Have a nice day.—
Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) December 02, 2012
Sigh. This Gervais fan just doesn’t get it.
It's impossible to have a reasonable debate with anyone who has blind faith in religion. But it's fun to watch @rickygervais try.—
Jamie Bellinger (@JamieBellinger) December 02, 2012
The irony, it scorches!
But this one makes an excellent point.
@rickygervais You know, for an athiest you sure talk about God and religion a lot.—
Tommy Nukes (@TommyNukes) December 02, 2012
Bingo!
Atheism has become its own religion, full of militant zealots. The lack of self-awareness is staggering. But, hey, we suppose we should give Gervais credit, at least, for not calling Obama his “Lord and savior.” So, there’s that.
Stay classy, Gervais.
