I have finally decided on my vote for Time's Man of the Year: The Costco employee who tried to upsell Biden some tires.

Yes! As Twitchy reported, Vice President Biden attended a Costco grand opening today. Dunce of the people! He noshed on free samples, checked out some kiddie books (reading is hard) and went looking for pie. Pie, whee! And, in a turn that took the wind out of any potential The Onion sails (can’t parody a self-parody), he turned down an attempt to upsell him tires.
Workers tried to steer Biden to Costco tire section. He wasn't interested. "Hey man I don't need tires … I don't drive anymore."—

He doesn’t need any stinkin’ tires, man! The employee who tried to do the selling, however, was a huge hit. Go, enterprise!

@sam_arora Fell in love with capitalism all over again today. "Mr. Vice President, you gotta get some shoes for that hot rod."—

Swoon!
I applaud the Costo employee's effort, but Don "the Goods" Ready would've sent Biden out of there with a new set of white-walls—

In a dream world, Biden doubled back to buy the tires, and I get to see the look on potus's face when he opens his Christmas present—

Can't stop thinking about this. Costco, you got a guy who tried to sell Biden tires. Give that man a raise! God bless America.—

Indeed. Enterprising spirit? Costco employees built that.
Update:
@tomselliott @daveweigel dude, he went in there for pies. Only a great salesman would say "bet I can get him to buy some tires"—

Seriously. Kudos, Costco salesman!
