Oops: White House holiday treats for reporters remind us that yes, Obama ate a dog

The president’s pooch-munching history really is the gift that keeps on giving.

Obama ate a dog, and just in time for the holidays, he’s making sure the press corps does too. Poor Bo.

  • yestradamous

Too funny. The kitchen staff must not read blogs. Or read anything. Or watch TV.

  • Vickie DHaene

He or “They” have a perverted sense of humor.

  • Dandee

Eating those cookies could be considered racist.

    • walterc

Why racist? They’re part white and part black.

      • SpinMeNot

Well, ok, maybe not racist per se, but they could be classified as being of mixed racial heritage ..

        Carlos is the man …

      • Grandma HeadInjury

So is that the dog or the owner?

  • stuckinIL4now

Are we sure there isn’t any real dog in those cookies?

  • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Seriously for a minute. Has anyone seen Bo lately??

  • operanerd1986

Sadly, this isn’t the only edible dog thing they have this Christmas. The White House gingerbread house also features an edible Bo:

  • Grumpa Grumpus

But, are they made with real dog?

  • http://alert-up-usa.com/ AlertUpUSA

Oh my – just look at that black food coloring and red. It takes almost all the F and D 3 red as well as all the others to make black. Michelle, would disapprove. Especially with the confectioner’s powdered sugar icing base! Is Obama promoting poor health habits via unhealthy cookies

  • Kat

Does the press ie MSM see that they are just lap dogs? Well played Obama you let the reporters know just where they stand…

  • JimmyNeutron

If I had a dog, it would look just like the one Obama ate…

  • TocksNedlog

Doggie treats for the lap dog media.

  • TocksNedlog

    Overheard at lunch today —
Obama: “Here, take some for the drive home. Tie them to the roof if there’s no room inside.”
Romney: “No thanks. But have some yourself; I hear they’re your favorite flavor.”
[Can you say ‘catfight over dog cookies’?]

  • Pater Tempus

Hmmmm….at least he didn’t strap the cookies to the roof of his car and take them on a road trip.

    • Stephanie Warren

Because putting a dog carrier on top of a car is worse than a man EATING A DOG! Tool.
