There is no such thing as a race card. Race is not a card that can be played as if a situation is un-racial until that card is played.—
Touré (@Toure) November 28, 2012
Touré Neblett, co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC (we had to look that one up), took to Twitter to put conservatives in their place regarding Amb. Susan Rice and the criticism she has received from Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham. Touré, who recently attacked McCain and Graham as “old, white, establishment folks,” denied the existence of a race card and then accused whites of using it to intimidate African Americans.
He did get some backup.
When conservatives countered, Touré was MIA. That didn’t stop them.
Touré? Touré? Anyone there?
… said the co-host of an MSNBC show.
Touré eventually decided to address his critics … kinda.
As always, a truly convincing argument.
