Laura Ingraham leaves Talk Radio Network, promises to keep zinging

Conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham announced today that she will leave Talk Radio Network to pursue other opportunities. Here is her official statement:

After more than 9 years with the distributor Talk Radio Network, I decided it was time to move on. After much thought and reflection, I have decided to pursue my first loves–modern dance and the xylophone. In the highly unlikely event that these efforts do not prove fruitful, I intend to return to radio.

Seriously–to the more than 300 stations that carry the Laura Ingraham Show and to all my loyal listeners, I feel the time is right to expand and retool my radio program and to explore other syndication options, which I am now actively pursuing. During this brief hiatus, my team and I will continue to deliver thought-provoking and entertaining analysis via my website and twitter @IngrahamAngle. And of course, I’ll be doing my regular appearances on Fox News. I anticipate making an announcement concerning the show in the near future. Stay tuned!

Following her announcement, Ingraham took to Twitter to answer questions and reassure her fans that she will still be fighting the conservative fight. Her fans shared their appreciation for her devotion to the cause.

Of course, a few liberals also showed up to give their typical respect.

Ingraham always has a way of attracting ignorant, misogynistic hatred.

Conservatives cannot afford to be without her voice for long. Luckily, we can still get our daily fix from Ingraham’s Twitter feed:

    Stay classy, Laura!

Lie Of The Day, Laura? (wishful thinking)

She’s too talented to be off the radio for long. Hope she can work something out real soon.

  • Sam

I absolutely love Laura, I remember asking my dad to turn her on in the car when I was a kid. Funny as hell and ridiculously smart, I have many fond memories of her.

  • GaryTheBrave

XM Satellite Radio had her on the America’s Right channel (now Patriot). When they merged with Sirius she was sent to the online-only channel and Beck replaced her. Odd thing, though. Glenn is already on another channel. I had been trying to get XM to have her replace Beck in one of his slots. Now I must wait til she signs with another syndicator. Maybe SiriusXM might hire her directly.

I would love to hear her on SiriusXM as well!
I have already written to SiriusXM make you voice heard!

      • jenndee

That is what I thought, possibly the morning slot that Greta from the night before is run on. Listening to Laura on the way to work…what a way to start the day!!

Would like to see Larry Elder back as well. They need to have a Patriot II channel

      • nc

Try IHeart Radio. Larry’s on KABC 790 in Los Angeles at 3pm Pacific Time, M-F.

  • TocksNedlog

    Laura rules!

    That is all.

  • lillymckim

I know that there is a time slot on FNC for Laura if she wanted it.
I hope FNC will open one up for her she’s smart, funny, and a true Conservative Voice which is VERY needed on Fox right now!

    • Ransomed4

They should give Laura one of Shep’s hours. Would be a welcome change!!!

  • Lisa 670

Love how the left is so “eloquent” (NOT) with their words. Their vocabulary is limited to ugliness and nastiness. This must make it difficult to talk to each other.

  • Seewetoldu

I love to hear more of Laura, she really does a great job. They need more than just radio airtime. When you have the entire Democratic party on almost every channel. Conservatives need to expand from more than just FOX to get the true message out . These brain dead Obama bots have to see a face everyday to get it though their thick skulls.

  • Sam Hunt

I guess the libs will not be getting Ingrahammered on the radio for awhile..

  • dow daytrader

Laura was a big time proponent of RINO’s and Mormon RINO Romney….she lost her radio show and Romney lost the election….Laura, you can stay retired and let a Tea Party American take your slot…

  • proudhispanicconservative

One less rino on radio, good.

  • Hello Jerry (D)

I’d like to see @Drunk Will McAvoy do the same thing. Then proceed to laugh my ass off!

  • michael s

If Laura is a rino as you say,why was she arguing with Dee Dee Benkie on the direction of the party? Laura was for more conservative values, Dee Dee was the more diversity we lose because the party is seen as the old rich white men party.

  • Hello Jerry (D)

    Sore winner alert!
