The photo had existed quietly online for about a month before it drew nationwide attention and outrage, inspiring a “Fire Lindsey Stone” Facebook campaign and not a lot of sympathy.
Meanwhile, the "Fire Lindsey Stone" Facebook page has 31,000 likes. This time last night it had 9,000.—
