The Chicago Sun-Times reports that a source close to Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. says he will submit his resignation to Speaker John Boehner within the hour. The congressman is under federal investigation and has been on medical leave during treatment for bipolar disorder.
Jackson won reelection to his congressional seat earlier this month while being treated at the Mayo Clinic.
