For better or worse, when Kim Kardashian tweets, people listen. Her tweet this morning in support of Israel immediately set off a chain of hateful rebukes and threats from Hamas supporters and Muslim fans:

Guess she wasn’t paying attention when Katy Perry tweeted “Pray for Israel” in August 2011 with similar results.

            More than 200 rockets were fired into Israel in the weeks before the drone strike on the Hamas leader.What nation anywhere would have allowed that kind of violence to be aimed at them without responding. What should Israel do to stop the bloodshed? If America were fired upon by even a fraction of those rockets we would have decimated those firing on us.It is devastating to think of the innocent Palestinians caught in this response…but their suffering was brought on by terrorists who repeatedly attack Israel and then hide themselves within civilian populations. The Palestinian people AND the Israeli people want peace, but as long as terrorists are in control of Gaza the chances of a lasting peace are slim. Israel isn’t wrong for continuing to try to crush the capabilities of a force (Hamas) that is trying to kill the Israeli people. I pray a solution is found soon.
