More ‘breaking’ news: Angus King (I-Maine) to caucus with Senate Dems, surprising no one

The newly elected senator from Maine has decided that he will caucus with the Democrats.

Oh, the drama!

Heh. As Twitchy reported earlier, the other totally not shocking, “breaking” news this morning was Nancy Pelosi’s declaration that she’ll stay on as House minority leader. Gobsmacked … said no one.

Seriously. Twitter users of all stripes quickly mock the “breaking” news.

Even Senator McCain got in on the snarky action.

Stay tuned! We suspect more breaking news will come in this morning. Here’s a hint: Water? It’s totally wet.

I’m sorry. I apologize for the entire State of Maine’s idiocy in electing this wolf in sheep’s clothing.

    • TugboatPhil

Ian, from what I gathered in my following of that race, the people that really elected him live nowhere near Maine.

I also thought we were better than that/
      Etna here.

Apology not accepted. Until Maine PROVES it will not elect progressives like Collins, King, or Snowe, you’re just like Lindsey Lohan telling the judge you cleaned up your act THIS TIME!

  • ricci

anyone that thought he was an independant also believes we have 57 states in the Union

  • Jack Deth

And with this one moronic move. ‘Bipartisanship’ can be claimed and reveled in by the socialist Democrats and their slobbering media.

  • TocksNedlog

    Maine, the Lavender state.

  • louisiana_mom

Some “news” items are so obvious they aren’t even worth reporting… The sky is blue, the sun is hot, Nancy Pelosi will remain Minority Leader, and Sen. King caucus with Dems…
