Anthony Weiner has more to show us on Twitter: Sandy devastation

After seeing way more of him on Twitter than we wanted to, it appears we haven’t seen the last of Anthony Weiner. The former New York Congressman (time to update that Twitter profile, by the way) has resurfaced on the social networking site after more than a year to address the devastation left by Superstorm Sandy.

Perhaps treading very carefully as he wades back into tweeting, Weiner posted only a link to a YouTube video, “Rockaway Needs Us,” without further comment. Followers had plenty to say, though.

Uncle Donald Trump does not approve of you minors following Weiner and urges you to block him immediately.

There were some rumblings this summer about Weiner planning a run for New York City mayor. Does national sympathy for the plight of New York and New Jersey give Weiner an opportunity to reinsert himself into public discourse?

Confession is not enough for Weiner truthers

  • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

I’m sure he thought, ‘Hey, Obama got re-elected and HE even allowed 4 Americans to be murdered, and almost 30 others… maybe I got a shot!’

    • HannahJK

Based on the hate and slurs spewed at Mitt voters today, he probably thinks he needs to restore those tweets and brag about em on the resume.

  • Bea

I guess Hurricane Sandy really did flush all the rats out from the sewers.

    • grey_ghost1

      Good one! …lol…lol…

  • kate_middleton

Trump’s a blowhard, but that tweet is hilarious.

    • carla5731

It’s a very blunt public service announcement.

    • Liberty

It’s so funny. Just what I needed to laugh. So true but so funny.

Trump doesn’t get around much on Twitter if he thinks this is the trigger to block your kiddies from it.

  • beebop1952

Anthony Weiner is to Twitter what Bill Clinton is to cigars.

So since Obama won, is it “safe” for all the disgraced, scandal-ridden liberals to come out of hiding now? Are Eliot Spitzer and Rod Blagojevich next?

    • operanerd1986

Fortunately, Rod Blagojevich is in a federal prison in Colorado and is not scheduled to be released until 2024, so we probably won’t have to deal with him.

Looky at who has now been emboldened and has come crawling out from under his rock.

And Alan Grayson was elected again too. He even set a record doing it. No other candidate had lost by 18 points in one year, only to turn around and win the next cycle by 25 — a 43-point swing.

So goes the Nation — So goes us all.

    You said, “reinsert himself”. Hee.

Why is this dick still calling himself RepWeiner?

Dollar a picture. Goes to Sandy’s victim. Yuck.
