Hilarious: Sandra Fluke draws ‘crowd’ of tens to Florida rally for Obama

On Wednesday, lady parts grievance-monger and full-time Obama cheerleader Sandra Fluke brought her rah-rah-victimhood routine to the University of Florida.

A “crowd”? Oh, honey, can’t the Obama campaign spring for a dictionary along with your birth control?

Fluke whipped out her Obama for America pom-poms in front of a “crowd” that reportedly numbered in the TENs. Moving on up! Just last month, Fluke fired up an enthusiastic gathering of just ten people at the Sack ‘N Save in Reno, Nevada.

Via Jammie Wearing Fools, The Alligator reports:

Fluke stopped at UF as part of her “It’s On You” Youth Early Vote Campus Outreach tour.

About 40 students gathered by the potato statue to listen.

Jammie Wearing Fools caught this tweet which captures just how humiliating the turnout was for the woman Dennis Miller dubbed Moan of Arc.

A few images from the kaffeeklatsch, er, “rally”:

Oh, goodness! The turnout was so great, they might have to grab a second van. Forward!

  • TomJB

LOL! She was really using a bullhorn to talk to 40 people? But how many of them were just hanging out in a grassy area trying to get some reading done before class when Miss Moan of Arc came traipsing through with her merry band of occupiers?

    • obathos

the bullhorn wasn’t for distance, it was used to reach the “Big O” deep inside skulls full of mush…

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Tom, there could have possibly been far more people there than what is shown. However, like most crowds of Democrats, if there are no freebies being handed out, or the opportunity to loot stores, they usually disperse.

      • TomJB

Phil, very possible, but if I had to put money on it, if you were to zoom back, you would see something like this: http://tinyurl.com/c9we64w

        • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Very true. I remember the fake missile hole in the roof of the “ambulance.”

  • Thanatos144

That’s just sad…..What ever is a college women to do to get birth control if she cant get people to vote Obama???? Maybe pay for it herself?

    • Sharon Allison

or maybe study instead of screwing around?

      • Thanatos144

Now now dont be so mean…..Ugly women need love too LOL

I’m a female college student and I AGREE! I came here to get an education not a boyfriend!

        • Kay Coyoteco

Ugh! How 70’s and 80’s of you! You should be studying Home Ed and focusing on that “Mrs. degree” like the NEW women of the Demcratic Party. We’ll have none of that independence! Just follow the crowd!! and be sure not to read anything that is banned by the Party – like something with reall news.

          • http://www.facebook.com/people/Michael-Foley/100000933171453 Michael Foley

Wow Kay,way to miss Christina’s point all together! Distlled her comment shows that she IS focusing on getting an education, not on being a toy for boys. Perhaps if Fluke had focused on her education should could have received her law degree some years ago rather than still being in school after 30.

          • CherDash

@Michael Foley: I think @Kay Coyoteco was being sarcastic.

          • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

I second that. As one who is prone to sarcasm, I’m pretty sure that was Kay’s intent.

          • Catchance

Yeah, pretty sure that was sarcasm from Kay.

        • Eddie

Well, Quoting Dennis Miller, ” You’re a 31-year-old woman whose stuck in a Virginia Slims magazine ad from 1968.” LOL. 31, a college student that wants everyone else to pay for her birth control. Real Sad!

      • Harry Myers

Yea maybe she could graduate before she’s 40.

      • Linda Ann McBride

        Or maybe even graduate

The good thing is, she is probably giving more people a reason to vote Romney / Ryan! Maybe we can send her to a black panther meeting on Tuesday and she can hold them in rapture while decent people vote.

    picture one:

“hey everyone! listen up! we have Sandra Fluke here to talk to us about the importance..”

    “Sandra Fluke.”

    “Sandra Fluke.”

“Sigh… women’s rights activists? Spoke at the Democratic National Convention?”

“Still don’t know who that is…”

“Rush Limbaugh called her a slut…”

“hahaha… we know. we just wanted to hear you say that.”

    • SmartmanAZ

Haha, orringtonmom this is a great post!!! Without Rush Limbagh this woman would not exist! That is the irony…

      • dralfredbellows

Great point. Rush should get royalties. So by my calculations, if everyone at this rally chipped in a nickel for Rush to thank him for making Sandra visible, he’d have…like…ten nickels.

    • David Ruiz

was she there to talk about “importance” or “impotence” ar ar ar

This woman (I use the word woman loosely) has had her minutes of fame, its time for her to go do something else.

Speaking of Sheehan, did you know she’s on a presidential ticket with Roseanne Barr? Wonder how many votes she’s gonna take away from the Commie in Cheif?

          • TheOriginalDonald

Speaking of Roseanne, she said eating Chick-Fil_a would make maleparts fall off. Excuse me for a second (looks into his underwear). NOPE THEY’RE STILL THERE! 😛

    • freeinaz

Thankfully she only has one minute left of those initial 15

  • denbren52

I’m sure her efforts paid off. If she was able to change the mind of just one Romney voter, then it was all worth it. Oh wait … there were no Romney voters there … in fact, there may not have been any voters there. Just a bunch of kids curious about some woman who obviously loves sex but doesn’t like to pay for her own birth control.

The guys are wondering “Who would have sex with that?”

    • jysabuda

The only reason Fluke is out there is to make a name for herself and hoping for a reality show…most Romney voters are informed and educated they don’t care about government funded birth control…they care about getting a job when they get out of school and worrying about if our economy will get better. I think social issues should take a back seat to economic and national security issues…US has bigger thinks to worry about than this loser Fluke. I cannot believe how stupid Obama team is to use this person to speak at their DNC…big votes lost for this.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_HM2AWC4OYXCNO5O7JKLX5Z3FNI Jimmy

Oh, she is out to make a name for herself. Not for a potential reality show, but for a potential run for a Congressional seat. The Dems will hold her up as a hero to women everywhere when she announces she is running. A hero for what? Basically proclaiming she is promiscuous and expects someone else to pay for her birth control.

        • Kate

She’ll probably become a contributor for MSNBC or CNN.

From the looks of it, I don’t think those guys prefer females. Then again, Fluke pretty much looks about as butch as anyone on earth so maybe they think she is a guy.

    • porchhound

She needs the trojans to use as a pickup line…:”Hey big guy LOOK I have my own rubbers!”

  • RDPortland

Wow. She’s drawing crowds comparable to the 6am slot on the Free Stage at the State Fair.

Does she have Barry’s mom-pants on?

  • Steve_J

From the picture it looks like a four parking space crowd. An improvement of x4 from her last publicized rally which, literally, required one parking space.

  • patriot1742

As this group passed by Fluke someone asked if they would hold this banner – not knowing what they were doing the said yes – only later did the Fluke realize this was the line to the ladies room.

    • MoxieLouise

Nice pictures, though…I guess they only use the exclamation point for crowds of more than 50. What a shame.

  • http://www.rockingjamboree.com/ Russ Rogers

I believe Fluke gave a more formal address at 5:30 PM at Florida State. I have no clue what the turnout was for that. But it doesn’t matter if Sandra Fluke is getting BIG crowds or small crowds, if wherever she speaks she garners the attention of the press. Fluke has crisscrossed the Country from Seattle to Florida, Ohio to New York to New Hampshire. Nevada, California and now back to Florida. She’s not a paid political operative. She’s a volunteer who is making a difference. She has been at events where she was “Swamped by a crowd of admirers,” but Twitchy hasn’t covered those. Why? Why is Twitchy selectively covering Fluke, trying hard to create a narrative where Fluke doesn’t matter? What scares you folks about Fluke?

How many other recent Law School Grads or Feminists could draw ANY sort of crowd on the Florida State campus? We’re not talking about Lady Ga Ga here. This is not a Pop Star. Fluke is an unpaid political advocate. Give me the name of ONE similar unprofessional advocate, who has been inspired to crisscross the Country for Romney/Ryan who is even half as inspiring. Meatloaf? Ted Nugent? Stacey Dash? Nope. Not even them.

    • Emjay Graykat

5:30pm at FSU? Um, classes have been over since 4:00pm mostly, and since the vast majority of students live off campus there isn’t a lot of foot traffic through the student union where she no doubt stopped. Would love to be a fly on the wall in that van as they pull out of each venue on to the next. I just don’t get, though, why they think campaigning to lesbians about birth control gaining voters?

      • http://www.rockingjamboree.com/ Russ Rogers

Sandra speaking on the commons was reported online around 2 PM. She was scheduled to speak in room 203 SSU at 5:30 PM. This smaller rally on the commons was just in advance of that larger, more formal event, and probably happened around noon. Sandra Fluke is engaged to be married…to a guy. She is not a lesbian. Why do you think she is campaigning to lesbians? If you don’t think Sandra Fluke matters, why would you want to follow her from event to event? That makes no sense, Emjay.

    • Sheerie Knoll

We are not laughing with you, we are laughing at you.

    • Fire and Adjust!

So your saying she is “not a paid political operative”, and is “just a volunteer”, who happens to have enough money to travel around the country speaking to tens of people about getting the government to pay for her birth control while complaining it is too expensive to pay for on her own? That make a lot of sense don’t you think?

      • http://www.rockingjamboree.com/ Russ Rogers

I’m not saying that her travel expenses haven’t been covered. But she graduated with honors from one of the Top 20 Law Schools in the Country. She addressed the Nation at the DNC Convention. A prestigious Law Firm or Lobbying firm would pay her a high six figure to low seven figure STARTING salary. And she has not taken that job. She is out volunteering her time. Name ANYONE on the Romney/Ryan side who is doing the same and drawing any kind of crowds or media attention. Sandra Fluke isn’t running for office. Sandra Fluke isn’t a Pop Star. Why is the Public interested? Why is she getting the attention of the Public and Press?

        • Fire and Adjust!

Name anyone on the Romney side calling for the government to pay for their lack of personal responsibility……..This waste of space was made a poster child for the dem’s “lady parts” campaign. If you don’t think she FULLY intends to use her fame and networking to land some high profile high paid job in the very near future then you are willfully blind. And you ask why the public is interested………with crowds in the tens, I’d say the public doesn’t appear all that interested. And why is she getting main stream media attention? Because she supports the media’s re-elect Obama agenda. Any conservative media attention she gets is to further provide evidence of the entitlement culture that the democrats desire and where they get their support from………you spin it how you want to. Fact is, this woman is campaigning for her own job just as much as you think she is campaigning for Obama.

          • http://www.rockingjamboree.com/ Russ Rogers

Sandra Fluke is not asking the government to pay for her contraception. And Contraception is NOT a “lack of personal responsibility,” Contraception are the tools of family planning, the essence of Sexual Responsibility and Personal Responsibility.

Sandra Fluke NEVER asked the government to pay for her contraception. She asked that the medicines she is prescribed by her doctor (STANDARD MEDICAL CARE) be covered by the health insurance that SHE PAYS FOR, without interference from her school or job. That’s a reasonable expectation. That’s just common sense.

tombwstpnt01, if the public is not at all interested in Sandra Fluke, why is twichy covering her? Why are you commenting on her? Obviously SOMETHING has grabbed your interest, even if you remain woefully ignorant about the issues she is advocating.

          • Marie

If she supports Obamacare then she is asking for the gov’t to provide her contraception. According to the Supreme Court, Obamacare is a tax. Technically, she and her acolytes are asking the gov’t to steal money from the tax payers via this tax to subsidize her contraception because she is too lazy to make a personal budget.

          • JSebastian

Actually she demanded it be “Free” with insurance, meaning paid for by everyone else who pays premiums. Why should one thing like birth control be “Free” when it is not even limited to medically necessary situations (for the treatment of hormonal disorders, fibroids, cysts, what have you)? There are many far more common physical maladies and disorders that merit “free” coverage than birth control. What about vision care? More people have poor vision and require corrective lenses than have uterine fibroids.

          • Amelia53

I agree with JSebastian that there are far more physical maladies/disorders that merit “free” coverage than birth control. If anybody should get “free” coverage, it’s my niece with juvenile diabetes. Without insulin she would die.

        • Marie

She’s not much of a grassroots volunteer f her traveling expenses are covered.

Interesting how you haven’t provided any proof of this woman holding rallies with higher attendance numbers. That’s probably because you’re lying.

I have a question. How many mere volunteers get to speak at their party’s convention?

Oh, I have one more question. Are you aware that Fluke never actually testified before Congress – that she spoke at a press conference set up by Nancy Pelosi, designed to look as if she did testify before Congress?

Oh, but she’s an authentic grassroots volunteer, so that’s why the crowds at her rallies number in the tens. Convenient excuse.

          • http://www.rockingjamboree.com/ Russ Rogers

I DID provide proof, Marie! You chose to IGNORE it. Just like twitchy has chosen to ignore it. Here is the LINK:

Quoting from the article: “NORTHAMPTON — Swamped by a crowd of admirers, feminist Sandra Kay Fluke made a pitch for Democrat Elizabeth Warren’s U.S. Senate campaign at a local cafe Tuesday, calling the U.S. Senate one of the last barriers between conservatives and women’s rights.”

That was just TWO weeks ago, Marie. Sandra Fluke can draw a crowd. Sandra Fluke can draw the attention of people. She drew YOUR attention, Marie.

          • Amelia53

Northampton: Provincetown East – largest concentration of lesbians in the country. Why do lesbians need birth control?

        • JSebastian

Really, so we won’t see any payola of any kind transpire after the election? She won’t wind up with a cushy six figure job at a firm controlled by Obama donors or by the Democrat Party itself? Yah…right…

        • http://profile.yahoo.com/XUT4VNV2IFQTGMIAL63OJRB3F4 sodapants

Isn’t it more likely that NO ONE will hire the dim-wit so her choices are pretty much limited to doing what she’s doing? Poor thing… when they’re done using her… they only one left that’ll throw change in her jar is you, dear.
I secretly think that you are Sandra Fluke.. checkin’ up on the latest buzz on yo-self. It’s un-natural, the number of times you leap in to defend the brood-mare.

    • Rena

Who is paying her expenses to do all this traveling is she is an “unpaid” political advocate? With all this money she she is getting to travel crisscrossing the states (from who knows where?)… perhaps she should invest it in paying for her birth control herself? What a waste of time and space this female is….

      • http://www.rockingjamboree.com/ Russ Rogers

Sandra Fluke PAYS for her birth control herself. That was what the Obamacare Mandate was about. Sandra Fluke’s birth control is COVERED by the health insurance that SHE PAYS FOR! A woman can have a reasonable expectation that the prescriptions she gets from her doctor will be covered by the health insurance that SHE PAYS FOR, without interference from her boss or school! There is no reason for a boss or school to insinuate themselves into the most personal and private healthcare choices a woman can make. A woman deserves her PRIVACY and she deserves her own personal FREEDOM of/from RELIGION. There is no reason a school should limit a woman’s healthcare based on a religious dogma they KNOW she doesn’t believe!

You are no more subsidizing Sandra Fluke’s contraception than she is subsidizing your vaccinations or annual check-ups! It’s part of the STANDARD coverage of health insurance. If you PAY for health insurance, you are paying for basic preventive medicine without copay.

Rena, if Sandra Fluke is “Waste of Time and Space,” why have you taken such an interest in her? If she is only worth forgetting, why haven’t you forgotten her already?

        • Marie

I don’t want to subsidize Sandra Fluke’s birth control, or anyone else’s birth control. Furthermore, I do not need nor want her subsidizing any procedure or medicine I might need.

The more crap that gets subsidized, the higher premiums are. If she can and is paying for her own birth control, it wouldn’t need to be subsidized.

          • http://www.rockingjamboree.com/ Russ Rogers

Marie, you are NO MORE subsidizing Sandra Fluke’s BIRTH CONTROL than she is subsidizing your vaccinations or annual check-ups. They are COVERED by PRIVATE health insurance. And Sandra Fluke PAYS for her own health insurance! So what’s your beef? That’s NOT a government subsidy. This is PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE we are talking about. Why should a job or school be able to decide that you can’t get STANDARD health coverage on your insurance? They shouldn’t. You should have your PRIVACY (they don’t need to know what medicines you take or why). And you should have your FREEDOM OF RELIGION! You should not have your standard health coverage (that YOU HAVE PAID FOR OR EARNED) limited by your job or school, especially not based on a religious doctrine you might not accept.

          • Tullia_Ciceronis

Forcing a private religious organization or institution to pay for a health care plan that covers something that is against their religious beliefs and practices violates the First Amendment and the entire liberal concept of separation of church and state. Of course, liberals don’t care about that.

        • RightThinking1

You don’t get it…, neither does Fluke.

You first say that Fluke pays for her birth control, and in the next breath say that her health insurance pays for it. Surely the contradiction is evident? And, no, a person should have no expectation that because a prescription is written that the prescribed item is covered by their insurance. That certain pharmaceuticals require a doctors prescription only means that they are controlled substances, not that they are critical to the patient’s well-being, or necessarily covered under the terms of the insured’s policy.

In case you haven’t noticed, employers provide group insurance policies as a *benefit*. An unfortunate vestige of an earlier time when there were actually labor shortages. But the important point, is that employers select the policy which they feel best benefits the company in the context of how it benefits the companies employees. Employees *always* have the option of purchasing their own insurance, and I have done so over the years. If you do not like your employer-provided plan, then buy your own, or find another employer, and stop whining. Insurance is ultimately *your* responsibility and not your employer’s, and it it damn sure isn’t *my* responsibility.
How can you possibly maintain that Fluke’s contraceptives are not being subsidized, when they are being paid for out of a common insurance pool?
Are you in the least moved by the contradictions inherent in your perspective? Are you so fixed upon an idea that you can not rationally think about it?

        • Rena

RockingJamboree “Rena, if Sandra Fluke is “Waste of Time and Space,” why have you taken
such an interest in her? If she is only worth forgetting, why haven’t
          you forgotten her already?”

Perhaps because she is shoved in our faces as she whines about women not getting birth control for free… I have NEVER had a problem what so ever going to my doctor, planned parenthood or the clinic to get birth control or any other necessary check ups for breast cancer, uterine cancer or any other “female” problem that may arise and I can do it without my boss interfering or getting “nosy” about my female needs. Furthermore, I have never heard of any school try to limit a woman’s HEALTHCARE, but mind you schools are NOT there to pamper students and give them everything, they are there to EDUCATE our children not cater to everything they want (perhaps that’s why many students are still covered under their parents insurance until they are 23 – 26 as long as they are in school)… The choice to have sex is up to the student NOT the school nor is it the responsibility to provide birth control to either the man or the woman.

And what does religion have anything to do with this either… If a person decides to go to a PRIVATE school that has strong religious beliefs why the hell are they suddenly shocked or offended that they are not getting those “benefits” or chastised for what they are doing?? No one is forcing them to attend that school and the private schools should NOT be forced to go against their beliefs. Again NO ONE is putting that woman out there to have sex or man for that matter. The student or others make the choice on their own to have sex and the responsibility falls on them to either protect themselves or chance getting pregnant.

        • Gallatin

So sandra pays 100% of the premium for her school/employer sponsored health care? If that is the case then I have no problem with your argument and Georgetown University has no right to “insinuate” themselves. However, I don’t believe that sandra pays 100% of the premium therefore Georgetown University has every right to “insinuate” themselves.
Religious dogma she doesn’t believe???? Was poor little sandra forced to go to Georgetown? If she doesn’t believe the dogma then she is free to go wherever the dogma is more suited to her beliefs.

    • dansamga

Unpaid my rear! She hasn’t earned a dime her entire life and the entire cross country trip has been paid for by campaign money. This woman is a disgrace to humanity not to mention women in general. If you admire her, you are truly in a sad state. She has never been swamped by admirers because nobody admires someone who spends all their time begging for handouts from the working class.

Wanting the basics of healthcare covered by the health insurance that you pay for is NOT “begging for handouts from the working class.” That’s not asking for an entitlement. That’s just asking for some FAIRNESS. That’s just common sense.

Dan, do you pay for health insurance? Are you upset that your vaccinations and annual check-ups are now included in the base price of that health insurance (and that you won’t be asked to make an additional copay)? You shouldn’t be. Vaccinations and annual check-ups are STANDARD preventive medical care. 99% of sexually active women use some form of contraception. Even 98% of CATHOLIC women use contraception. It’s STANDARD preventive medical care. And a woman’s school or job should not get between her and the STANDARD preventive medical care that she PAYS for or has EARNED through her health insurance.

        • Marie

Contraception is not basic health care. A human being can live a long life without it.

        • bicentennialguy

98% of Catholic women using birth control doesn’t mean anything. Did you ask all Catholic women BTW? How do you know this is a real number? Also, I know Muslims who drink alcohol even though their religion forbids it. Does that mean Jack Daniels should open a distillery in Tehran or Mecca?

        • Amelia53

So do you believe that women should get “free” birth control (without a copay) and my niece should pay for her insulin? Diabetes is a life-threatening disease – without insulin my niece could die. Where’s your argument now?

    • bicentennialguy

I would hardly call Sandra Fluke inspiring. What is it about her that’s so inspiring? She’s a pitiful excuse for a grown woman.

    • JSebastian

What does she do for money? How does she support herself if she is a “volunteer”? And if she can afford to schlep around the country on behalf of the Democratic party, incurring transportation, meal, and lodging expenses then surely she can afford to pay for her own birth control.

Someone should make a Pez dispenser for birth control pills with Fluke’s head on the top.

  • Emjay Graykat

Again, both Ms. Fluke and female pictured, including that androgynous curiosity standing in the middle, probably have a combined birth control budget that doesn’t exceed a pack of chewing gum.

  • Paul Cusumano

Sandra Fluke’s ten minutes of fame are over. She better grab all the free condoms she can get her hands on. Don’t let the brothel door hit you in the ass, babe…

What is Obamas plan for the next 4 years? I am going to hire teachers to teach, that’s fine for the future but it does not help the economy now. I am going to make it easier to go to college, why go to college if there is no jobs to do when I’m done? I’m ging to spend more money on clean energy, don’t you mean waste more money on clean energy, how has that been working out so far. I saved the auto industry, you used the tax payers money to put a bandaid on the auto industry, wait until GM has to start paying Federal income tax again, we will see how long that bandaid sticks. The Middle East is safe, 4 Americans dead in Benghazi and you trying to put the blame on some Youtube video, as you look there family members in the face and lie to them. Iran closer then ever to having nukes, not so safe. I just need more time, more time for what???????? we have not heard of any plans, just much of the same. WE AS AMERICANS CAN’T TAKE 4 MORE YEARS OF THE SAME, IT’S TIME 4 A CHANGE. VOTE ROMNEY/ RYAN FOR a SAFER, STRONGER, BETTER AMERICA.

Apparently the birth control is working so good that around 20 years ago all of the crowd that was supposed to show up to cheer Miss Fluke on were aborted.

  • David Ruiz

I do not mean to be rude but the more I look at Fluke, the more I wonder why she needed so much borth control?
Then again, she lost me when she gave her sob story about how much her birth control cost her and how she could barely afford it and then her Facebook pics of her trip to Europe came out. Got money for Europe, you got money for pills to be boom booming!

  • ArizonaMomma

Fluke is a flake.. Birth control is available in most clinics for free. If she is spending $3000 per yr. on it then she must have a hell of a body that guys want because she is a tramp.

bwahahahahahaha. Good use of that “public interest scholarship” there – studying hard this fall I see. Is that a “gays for obama” gathering or a Campfire Girls pic before leaving for a weekend cookout. Nah, couldn’t be Campfire Girls, they actually volunteer in their communities and give back to society – a concept which is foreign to people like Fluke and her accomplices.

Just went to Ga/Fl game last weekend (Go Dawgs, BTW!!!) and the one thing that united fans was a strong Romney/Ryan support. Lots of RR signs, stickers, and buttons going around, not too much Obummer. Thinking Ms Fluke should just pack it up and get back to whatever it is she does.

You can go to the health dept. and get all the free condoms you want. If you don’t like condoms, you can get the pill for about 10 bucks a month. If you can’t afford 10 bucks a month for birth control, you suck as a human being.

Its not unusual for Liberals to pay people to show up at these rallies to “pad” the crowds and make it look good for the cameras. Oh you poor dear.

Look Sandra (may I call you Sandra?). Your 15 minutes of fame are over. Your usefulness to the Obama administration is over. Women are embarrassed by you and for you. It’s time, dear. Time to move on with your life, finally finish that eternal degree you’ve been working on and get a real job. Pay for your own birth control.

Buy a cat. Write your memoirs, brief though they may be.

    Just move on already.

In the early 70s, Helen ready sang a song “I AM WOMAN”, that had the line “I am woman hear me roar!” and the movement was to prove women were equal to men and an amendment should be passed to state such. In 2012, it’s Sandra Fluke and her megaphone saying “I AM WOMAN hear me roar!…that I’m not even capable of coming up with enough cash to pay for a month’s worth of condoms.” My how times have changed.

It’s like the scene in ” Catch 22 ” when the politician is inspecting the troops every time he passes one that one runs to the end of the line to make it look like more than five soldiers are in the army. The early days of the AFL when they would have the few fans in attendance move around when the cameras were panning out to make it look like more showed up then what they did.
