may not agree with his politics but this is really compassionate of him. bravo booker bravo

Wow, so they don’t have to go dumpster diving like New Yorkers. What upscale NJ office is Booker planning to run for next?

    • Danny Wheeler

Hey, watch it! I may live in Ohio, but I have internet friends who live in New York!

      • AUBraves

I didn’t read it as him making fun of NY… it was more of a cut towards the lack of help they are getting in NY and have no choice but to dredge up whatever they can live on until FEMA and the Red Cross get moving.

Remember – this is the guy that also went off the reservation regarding the Bain attacks – until he was sent to “re-education camp” ala The Killing Fields by the Chicago campaign. While I probably disagree with most of his views I do think Booker, to this point, has shown himself to be a leader – and leaders deserve to be respected, even if you disagree with them.

    • Ben Bollman

He is a nice man and has some good ideas for sure, but he is still part of a political party and has beliefs himself rooted in socialism/progressivism/social justice. I would never trust him as a leader especially since he willingly let the left use him as a whipping boy, anyone that spineless is not a leader.

Pretty sure he’s on track to be the second black president.

Politically, Mayor Booker and I probably have very little in common–even less since the Obama camp beat him into line after his Bain comments–but he also seems like a pretty good guy, and a caring mayor. Shame he’s on the other side.
