Sickening: Obama tells Red Cross ‘we leave nobody behind’; #Benghazigate says otherwise

Yes. Yes he did. Speaking about Hurricane Sandy at the Red Cross yesterday, President Obama had the temerity to assert his so-called “leadership” in times of crisis and proclaimed that he leaves nobody behind:

Twitterers were disgusted that Obama could stand there and tout his commitment to protecting American lives after his shameful conduct following the attacks in Benghazi that left four brave men dead. Jetting off to Las Vegas and hawking sweatshirts instead of claiming responsibility is not leadership by any stretch of the imagination. And Americans, livid over Obama’s self-promotion and reckless disregard for the truth and for human life, absolutely let him have it:

"We leave nobody behind..." Like HELL you don&#039... on Twitpic

Rightly so. His behavior has been nothing short of disgraceful.

This utterly deluded Twitterer saw Obama’s Red Cross photo-op as evidence of his skills as a leader:

Not if we have anything to say about it.

One just wonders at how vast the abyss of conscience.

  • SusanMG

Historians will not be kind when the complete sequence of events that lead to the Obama administration role in the death of 4 Americans in Libya. Right now there is enough damning evidence to paint a picture of how the attacks streamed live into the government in WH and other locations. Simply put, whatever you call it…incompetence, coverup, gunrunning gone bad, negligence..for certain this is nothing to be proud of…Americans begged for help while decision makers in the administration remained unmoved and silent.

    • The Daffodil Times

Enough damning evidence where? In the Faux News conspiracy room?

      • Grumpa Grumpus

        @The Daffodil Times:

I’m confused. I thought you didn’t believe in conspiracies.

        • SusanMG

Hi, uh…may I call you Daffy? So you are using your self evident intelligence and comprehension skills to diss facts provided by the administration itself? Kinda lame.

          • my preciousss!!

ha! daffy. daffodils have more character than this kool aid drinker.

      • Penmar

Do you have ADD, Daffy? You know where you look at something or see something, like emails and testimony in congress. dead people and stuff and the info just doesn’t quite cross the bridge to the right part of the brain where you actually process stuff?

        • Jim Denney

Daffy has CTD … cerebral tissue deficit.

      • Catchance

Leaving four Americans to die on American soil (yes, a consulate is considered sovereign American soil just as if it were here in the U.S.) is beyond disgusting. And then lying about it. And lying some more. And more and more. And the other stories haven’t even begun to flow. And if you just keep defending without even looking anywhere other than your blogs or MSNBC, then you’re just as bad as they are.

        • The Daffodil Times

When did he lie? Lol, where should I look, Faux News? Breitbart? Drudge? LOL

  • William J. Miller

This is Obama (or, more likely, his handlers) mooning every person who just wants answers in regards to Benghazi.
I believe this was deliberate, and meant as a taunt.

    • WingedBishop

He won’t spike the football by releasing the bin Laden pictures (except for politically), but he’s spiking it over Benghazi.

  • MaddMedic

Reblogged this on Freedom Is Just Another Word… and commented:
Apparently Benghazi and dead Ambassadors and Selas do not count…Guess murdered is not left behind…Lets leave Obama behind on 11/6!!!!!!!!

  • Steve_J

Given the situation, what the hell does that even mean?

  • The Daffodil Times

Good to see you put murder in it’s proper perspective.

Now we see who you are. I’m sorry you’ve chosen to never know peace. You must be very tired.

I’ve noticed that when a liberal gets put in her/his place and has no facts to respond, the answer is often LOL.

    • William J. Miller

Thank you for proving my above post. Let me elaborate:

He says this knowing it would evoke a reaction. He knew his flying monkeys (you) would go out and ridicule those “kook right wingers”.

The problem with that line of thought is that he (and you) has severely underestimated the number of people who have questions (and, quite frankly, don’t like having their intelligence insulted), compared to how many are willing to participate in the coverup.

So, keep up what you’re doing. It will make the fall that much harder, and that much more fun to watch.

    • Tony0920

No. Your President-in-denial just has a certain way with words that gives us a bit of itch, in all the wrong places. Do you think your support means a drizzle of anything to him? Heh. Go weave another daisy chain, and wish you grew up in the real hippie daze, as I did. I got a job, had kids, and grew beyond your maligned notion of what all that was. All that. Was.

  • Barbara

  • Grumpa Grumpus

    it’s a taunt.

  • Chad S

In a world where most journalists hadn’t already succumbed to a chronic case of tingles (or if a Republican was president), USA Today, NY Times, Washington Post, and every other major paper would have been splashed with BO’s ludicrous quote and large photos of our Americans murdered in Benghazi. Americans our smart enough to see through this nonsense, hence the steady march toward unsustainable readership and ever-dwindling MSM ratings.

  • Rick Stones

In response to Obama’s outrageous speech and photo opportunity in New Jersey, Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith were unavailable for comment.

  • nc

I’m not particularly smart or brave. But I think even I could handle the job of saying “Yes, spend the taxpayer’s money” in the event of an overwhelming natural disaster. This is great leadership? Those closer to the actual situation, especially the first responders, are the true heroes doing things many of us cannot even imagine.

Benghazi is different. That was a situation that demanded the kind of hands on, tough decisions that only the CIC could make. That was BHO’s true failure of leadership, and for him to try to fake us out about it is despicable.

  • Junie3

That must be another shout out for the knuckleheads. This guy, who is he? Does he even know about Benghazi? Wow, what a helter skelter wreck this miscreant is.

  • The Daffodil Times

Death toll from Sandy up to 57. Instead of covering the storm and telling viewers how to help, Fox News continue to come up with Benghazi conspiracy theories

    • Penmar

Dear Daffy, for your info, we can do nothing about those poor people that perished in the storm. We can do something about the poor souls that perished in Libya, by demanding that the truth is known. Most Americans are doing what we can without getting in the way of trained response teams, by giving blood, giving food, water, TP, clothing to those groups best equipped and experienced to get it to those that know how to get it distributed to those in need. Americans have never turned their backs on those in need, unlike our Stand Down President. My niece, formerly with the Red Cross and now with FEMA does her job well and is one of the most compassionate people I know. Therefore I am certain the people who are in need are being taken care of just as fast as can be humanly done.

      • The Daffodil Times

You can do something for the 57 dead by helping their devastated families pay for burials. You can do something for the 8 million without power and the people without food by donating to the American Red Cross. There is absolutely NOTHING you can do about Benghazi

        • Jim Denney

“There is absolutely NOTHING you can do about Benghazi (sic).”

Sure there is, we’re going to kick your presidential imposter Obama to the curb on Election Day.

        • Penmar

Like I said, yes there is something we can do for those who died for us in Benghazi and that is get at the truth. There was more info leaked yesterday, a cable to Hillary Clinton’s office shortly before the attack, telling them who was likely to commit the atrocity and that they needed more security because the consulate could not withstand an attack and they also requested that they be allowed to stay at the annex rather than the consulate, they were denied and they were not pulled out of Benghazi, even after all the intel they received concerning the more than dangerous situation in Benghazi. And the taxpayers are already taking care of those who are dealing with loss of life and damage in Sandy.

      • The Daffodil Times

LOL “without trained response teams” Then who is taking your blood? Who is taking the donations? Are you just putting them in a cannon and blasting them in the general direction of the east coast?

        • William J. Miller

You left out “getting in the way of”. Nice (well, actually, pretty poor) try at twisting words.

        • Penmar

Rescue teams, first responders, trained response teams aren’t usually taking blood, Daffy. You don’t get out much do ya? And first responders don’t usually take donations either, they are too busy trying to rescue people. your cannon remark is not the least bit witty, no that’s what truck drivers and trucks with 53, 48 or 20 foot trailers are used for.

    • Catchance

I’ve donated money for Sandy… what have you done?

  • gracepmc

Hey Obama, there’s 7 hours of real time tape waiting for your review in case you want to issue a retraction.

  • Penmar

Well, you know in lib speak, he didn’t leave anyone behind, he brought them home after they died. Which by lib standards is technically the same thing.

  • tomtom1983

He’s in a catch 22 type situation. If he claims he didn’t know then it would be his fault as he didn’t go to over half of his national security briefings since his 3 1/2 years in office. He just didn’t go, like liberals in Congress who didn’t bother to show up for budget talks. Not one.

If he said he knew then four issues arise, one being why he denied request for more security three times, a month before the attack? Two is why did he order the troops nearby to stand down as the Consulate was under attack?

Three would be why he didn’t use assets nearby to attack the Islamic monsters and protect the people in the Consulate? And four would be why he knowingly presented fraudulent information to the American people for weeks after the attack?

Either way the blame is most surely at that liberals feet. Obama can not blame this on anyone but himself, not Bush, not ATM’s, not greenhouse gases, not man made disasters and not the 1%.

    It is he.

    • nc

YES! But what happens if he wins next week (God forbid!) and the fit hits the shan after he’s settled into his second term?

    • Grumpa Grumpus

Which is why the DoJ Disinformation corps has sent out DippyDilly Tines to run interference and attack w/the intent to cast doubt.

The clods at the DoJ are 3rd rate: the spoof IP, but still do it in a block… Five times during upticks of abusive visitors the visitors came from different blocks of IP addresses.

Ace has published essentially the same info about some of the BigMouth-SmallBrains on his blog… and as Admin he can follow them back in real time instead of using forensics to dig the info up later.

I have noticed that a major “zinger” (in their minds, anyway) is “rightwing conspiracy theorist” slur.

It is enlightening that the same slur was used to belittle those that were worrying about Soviet agents… even while the diplomatic intercepts were proving the worries well founded.

  • Bill Bradham

Freudian slip to soothe his guilty conscience.

  • The Daffodil Times

Sickening: Republicans refuse to acknowledge 57 dead and 8 million without power post-Sandy.

    • Penmar

I don’t know why you insist on yelling “Squirrel” Daffy, And repeating the lie doesn’t make it a fact. No one is disputing the rising count of those that have died in Sandy. The difference is we didn’t leave them there to die knowing there was something we could have done differently to save them. Even with mandatory evacuations there is no guarantee that the people will follow that directive and do as they are told. What is sickening is your attempt to assist the WH administration in denying it’s incompetence in the Benghazi situation which resulted in 4 deaths that could have been prevented.
