WaPo’s Kathleen Parker bets lots are thinking ‘President Bloomberg’? Twitter bets she’s cuckoo pants

Oh, dear. If there was ever a time for “bless her precious heart,” this is it. The often hurl-worthy Kathleen Parker of The Washington Post seemingly tweeted that genius remark this morning (the account is unverified).

Okay, maybe it doesn’t top her sickening ode to President Obama  few years ago. But, it’s close. The Parker Twitter account followed it up with some swooning over Newark Mayor Cory Booker as well. Squee! He’s so dreamy!

Twitter users crossed their respective political aisles to join together … in mocking. So, there’s that! Kathleen Parker’s idiocy brings people together! Is Ms. Parker betting that people are thinking “President Bloomberg?” Well, Twitter users are united in betting that Ms. Parker is cuckoo pants.

Read, and giggle madly.

Could it be a parody account?

Hmm. The account was linked as the real Ms. Parker’s by Fox News last month.

Either way, Twitter users continue to offer some hilarious mockery. It’s hard to tell if it is a parody or not; That’s what happens when one becomes a self-parody all on her own.

Zing! Remember that one? CNN booted Ms. Parker and kept Eliot Spitzer. Oh, the shame.

And, win.

    What has she been snorting?

    • bicentennialguy

God only knows. Pray it doesn’t get into the water supply. I don’t think people geeked on coke would say such idiotic things.

Remember the union strike during the blizzard not so long ago? Didn’t some people die due to that? Yeah, Bloomberg is just great, if you are worried about those big gulps.

    • bicentennialguy

Yes, but the union snowplow drivers were running over cars and getting hammered on the clock, so all in all, mission accomplished.

I think I wrote an article about that. If I remember correctly, I suggested that the union leaders could have been charged with manslaughter. The DA did suggest they were looking into it, I have not revisited it since though.

he seems a lugubrious drone to me but if Kathleen wishes she may vote for him and split the obama vote

    • Kate

I remember when there was a rumor in ’07 that Bloomberg was considering a run for president as an independent. I had hoped it was true, because we would have never learned the phrase “President Obama.”

  • carla5731

I’m not stupid enough to need Michael Bloomberg to run my life, but maybe Kathleen Parker is and that’s why he’s such an appealing candidate in her eyes.

  • Jack Deth

Commissar Bloomberg, but he already holds that title.

Bloomberg already has major problems with Pocket Tweets. Who knows what disasters could be caused if he discovers he has opposible thumbs?!!!!

Cats and dogs, when they aren’t living together in sin. Will be bothering Bloomy to open cans and pouches and sacks of food!

Better for Bloomberg to tend to his pets. And let a professional, like Governor Christie ride herd in New Jersey and stay in the spotlight.

WHAT is in the water at the Washington Post?

    Stupid libtard!

  • Merry

It’s about time Parker left TonHall—we all screamed she was a libtard.

  • Merry

    Ooops–That was to be “TownHall”

  • lainer51

Don’t bet your house, honey… you and yours will be homeless!

If She had only asked Obama to lower the Tides 2 days ago NYC would be Fine Today

  • Gallatin

Kathleen pray tell what exactly has the little man done to get you gushing?

  • Jack Deth

In the spirit of the Halloween Season:

Why is it that the attractive, though not too bright blonde always survives in a slasher, monster or Sci~Fi film?

Yet the hot, smart, slightly less virtuous and fun brunette is the first one to die messily?

I can think of several dark and blonde haired conservative women who are far, far smarter and more popular than Ms. Parker. Unless she achieved her hardly relevant position through Affirmative Action?

More proof the pundit class is clueless. No wonder newspapers are dying.

  • BobHTX

I really thought that was a joke when I saw it.

The media douchebags never cease to amaze.

How recent is that photo on your twitter account, Kathleen?

  • SideshowJon36

Such a campaign would be quite the uphill Marathon

  • Peyton

Well if Hurricane Sandy had been hurricane Soda it wouldn’t have been allowed in NYC.
