Media bias: ’60 Minutes’ piece touts government assistance to North Carolina county

Why is this so predictable? Is election day coming soon or something?

Here’s a point:

  • Kent Vig

The MSN will have no credibility after this election. The bias is so bad they don’t even try and hide it anymore. Our media used to dig for every story and be our watchdog now they are just a lapdog for the Democrat party.

    • Love of Country

IMHO, they had no credibility after 2008 if not sooner.

And I’ll never forget how rabid the state run media was when they went after Mitt for talking about Benghazi while Dinglebarry went unfettered to a fundraiser in Vegas. They all conspired to crucify him …. hadn’t seen an inquisition like that since George Bush was in office …. unbelievable!

It had literally been a long 3 1/2 years since they had behaved remotely like that and in 1 single instance gave away their epic bias in no uncertain terms.

      • Kent Vig

I am saddened by this. They were always biased but they took their journalistic responsibilities and would run with a story no matter what party. They would dig at the Rs more but if something big came then they would report it. For example. The Monica Lewinski story would be buried completely now.

        • TugboatPhil

Kent, the Lewinsky story was actually being held back by a “real journalist”, although I can’t remember who. If not for Matt Drudge, it would have stayed hidden.

Similarly, for years the LA Times has been hiding a video tape of Obama attending a farewell dinner for U of Chicago faculty member Rashid Khalidi, a well known Jew hater. Most probably Obama is on the tape toasting and laughing at all the Jew hatred being spouted by Khalidi and his fellow haters.

          • Love of Country

And they’d still be denying the Lewinski scandal if not for the disgusting DNA evidence on that blue dress. After all … Jennifer and Paula never got any traction in the media. And Bubba sent Lanny Davis to break in and try to steal the blue dress so Bubba could continue to deny it ever happened and the media didn’t care about that nor did they care when he sent Sandy Berger to successfully steal those incriminating documents out of the Library of Congress or wherever it was.

Also, the media didn’t care Bubba used the full force and power of the presidency to destroy the careers, reputations and lives of all the women who dared to talk about what Bubba had done to them … what a bunch of fascist bullshit.

          • Kent Vig

Your right but once it broke it went everywhere unlike Benghazi. And that video must be so damaging that they can’t let it out. I am just saddened that our country has been so divided by this Administration. I don’t see an easy fix

        • Love of Country

It’s a travesty, no doubt …. and I’m sure they’re all rejoicing about a horrific storm that they can hide behind as they bury the Benghazi scandal and cover-up and instead give high praise for however Dinglebarry does or doesn’t handle the oncoming storm.
Fascism ain’t Perdy my friends …. ain’t perdy at all!

          • Kent Vig

What sickens me is the Axelrod is worried the storm will affect turnout for Obama not whether it kills people.

          • Love of Country

Yeah, it appears the DNC have really outed themselves as hateful, devisive and conniving citizenry devoid of any truly appreciable values and that’s why some 99% of all violent criminals identify with the DNC, and if that’s not sobbering news then I don’t know what is.

    • raldy

Don’t watch. It’s that simiple. I’ve stopped watching state controlled media and reading state controlled papers. I know where to go for my news. Look at the newspapers…we are winning that war.

      • Gallatin

Amen. I can’t remember the last time I watched 60 minutes.

    • my preciousss!!

NatGeo is also showing sometime this week if not tonight, the movie Seal Team 6. perhaps to boost obama image. methinks it will backfire.

    • truthtopowerCNS

I wish that were true, but (no kidding) most of my coworkers say Jerry Springer is a news show. :(

    • PennyRobinsonFanClub

  • Pete Futz

Well, maybe in a few weeks they can do a segment on how president eye candy lost the election.

  • JeanaKHC

Oh good Lord! My eyes are bleeding! If Benghazi had happened under Bush’s watch, it would have been on TV 24/7. Hell, they probably would have come door-to-door just in case anyone missed it.

  • nc

But this isn’t “political” or anything. Riiiight.

This administration is transparent all right. Transparent in their use of their propaganda organs who are all too willing to comply.

  • Grumpa Grumpus

I’d just like to point out that 60minutes devotes broadcast space to the unusual or the unexpected.

    Otherwise it wouldn’t be news

Realizing this, it’s perfectly understandable that they’re talking-up Der Dingleberry™’s SC food relief…

After all– Der Dingleberry™ did something everyone agreed was impossible!

For the 1st time during a disaster Barry managed to keep The First Appetite from eating all the relief food!

And I think he should get credit for that!

And, yes, 60 minutes would cover 24/7 a Benghazi-type story under a Conservative!

The very incongruity of it would compel such coverage!

Under The Reign™ of Emperor Dingleberry™ and The Lady WideLoad™, cowardly, contemptible, unsavory, dishonest, un-American, callous, disgusting, traitorous,… did I cowardly?… actions are both normal and expected!

    So what’s there to report?

  • Sandi

I live in NC. Saving ONE county….pffttthhhh! How about saving the whole state? NC has been at or over 9.6% unemployment since 2008.

    • Love of Country

Well that one county must have certain demographics that Dinglebarry finds awfully attractive for the upcoming election, lol. (sigh)

  • medicinewomantwo

hmmm..does that explain a Republican House and a Republican Governor elect with double digits?
