Rep. Jim Moran’s son resigns from campaign in wake of damning O’Keefe video

As Twitchy reported, James O’Keefe and Project Veritas released a new bombshell video earlier today that showed Pat Moran, field director for his father Rep. Jim Moran’s campaign, conspiring to commit voter fraud. Jim Moran’s political career has long been plagued by corruption, but today’s video adds a new, disturbing layer to the shadiness.

Now, faced with the indisputable evidence of his criminal activity, Pat Moran has resigned:

“Effective immediately, I have resigned from the Moran for Congress campaign,” Patrick Moran said in a statement to TPM sent from his campaign email address.

Once again, the muckrakers at Project Veritas have proven themselves to be invaluable defenders of election integrity. Kudos to these true investigative journalists.

But is Jim Moran still pressing the DOJ to investigate Republicans for voter fraud in Virginia?

Hats off to O’Keefe! I am beginning to think he’s the only investigative journalist out there!

He is an American treasure and what every REAL reporter SHOULD aspire to become.

He has very few peers in his profession.

    Go, O’Keefe, Go!

At least he feigned enthusiasm when he thought the reporter was going to pick up non-voters and bring them to the polls.

    • Kevin Krom

But as soon as he was convinced that the reporter wanted to vote for people without their knowledge or consent, he started providing tips on how to forge utility bills to “prove” ID.

Still waiting for Jim Moran’s resignation.

Oh, and one other thing. If this was the son of an incumbent Republican…….well. We all know.
