Out: Class warfare. In: Libs cheer Obama’s $4 million haul from Beyoncé and Jay-Z

https://twitter.com/jerseystar973/status/248253716896047106

The Left is fond of bemoaning “too much money” in politics. President Obama complained just a few weeks ago that “Money has always been a factor in politics, but we are seeing something new in the no-holds barred flow of seven and eight figure checks … they fundamentally threaten to overwhelm the political process over the long run and drown out the voices of ordinary citizens.”

But if it’s a massive cash infusion from your favorite pop music and R&B stars and their friends? Well, break out the champagne! Obama and his celebrity pals Beyoncé and Jay-Z (or as he called them tonight, “Bey and Jay”) literally popped bottles at NYC club 40/40 — raking in $4 million at $40,000 a ticket. The Obama fanboys and fangirls on Twitter who would normally be spreading class-warfare propaganda called a ceasefire in order to cheer the high-dollar donors on.

Nope, it’s only a “thang” when conservatives and Republicans are raising it.

Interesting choice of words for Sarah|Beyonce @iStan4QueenB. She says “Slay” Yeah, four Americans were slain in Benghazi, and the best Obama could do was fly to Vegas and talk about having “kind of a tough day.”

It’s a shame that the government doesn’t tax the hell out of campaign donations and use the revenue to do something meaningful.

Seeing how they tax everything else.

A little off topic, but if you want to make a lib’s head explode, try this the next time one is talking about redistributing wealth.

Look at them in all seriousness and say, “I agree. We should seize what the poor have and distribute it among the rich.” They’ll be silent for about 10 seconds, because their synapses don’t really fire all that fast. Then they’ll look really confused for another 20 and then they explode.

Here we are with embassies attacked in twenty-some countries and the administration’s lying about the cause, China and Japan are at odds, and Iran’s on the verge of acquiring nuke tech. • Elke E. Wilhelm

Hey, isn’t this the couple that closed down an entire maternity department in a NYC hospital to have their baby because they didn’t want to share with the “riff-raff” of that city? New fathers were shut out of visiting their newborns because of this couple’s security. What perfect Obama supporters they make!

      • Guest

They didn’t shut down the entire maternity ward. They had a separate wing. Blame the hospital security for that.

    • Armando

According to Romney, that’s only a fifth of the middle class annual income.

      http://www.businessinsider.com/romney-middle-income-2012-9

      • Catchance

Sigh… again you’re missing the point. It’s the small business people in that income range who are being stifled and made to pay higher taxes. Those whom THEY HIRE and who make $30,000 a year either don’t pay taxes at all, or very little. Romney wants to stop stifling the business people, the ones who create the jobs. You need to get a clue. But of course, if you pay attention to George Stephanopoulos, it’s not surprising that you believe that garbage.

        • Armando

Under Obama’s plan, even that “middle class” will pay less taxes, so what is the point that I’m supposedly missing?

          • Catchance

If the only place you are looking for information on taxes or anything economic is barackobama.com, you’ll never understand the point. Obama’s administration spends over $1Trillion more every year than it takes in. There are two ways to control this (and, by the way, the Harry Reid-led Senate hasn’t submitted a budget in over 3 years): Take in more taxes, and/or spend less. All Obama wants to do is take in more taxes… he doesn’t want to stop spending. Even if we taxed every dollar “the rich” makes (and, by the way, those are his cronies as well) it not only wouldn’t be enough to pay down the debt (now at $16 Trillion) it wouldn’t even reduce the deficit; it would currently raise approximately $46 Billion. You also have to look at the long-term problems. “The Rich” are also the people who employ others. You start taxing them more, and they’ll be sending the jobs and their money overseas faster than you can say, “Unemployment-over-8%-for-43-straight-months”. ObamaCare will cost the taxpayer even more than the CBO first thought:

What part of the worst foreign policy crisis since 9/11/01 does BHO not understand? Is our ambassedor’s horrible death, along with three others, and the breach and desicration of our embassies already yesterday’s news? Anti-American rioting worldwide is at an all time high.

But you’d never know it by BHO’s behavior and his lapdog media’s reporting.

I’m praying that, like their stories, the media is spinning (OK, lying about) the polls. I don’t want to think about what kind of a country we have become if more than a few die hard nuts believe in this man.

    • http://twitter.com/angelcandy54 candy martin

He’s not worried about it, you see, he is one of the muslim brotherhood. That is why his administration knew days in advance about the protests in the Middle East and yet did nothing! Ambassador Stevens and the others were set up and led to slaughter. He could’ve beefed up security but he didn’t. He could’ve spent a moment in remembrance of the victims of 9/11, but he didn’t – he was too busy campaigning. And now, instead of meeting with Netanyahu, he chooses instead to go on Letterman and party w/ JZ and Boocie. He would much rather be a celebrity than a leader.

I notice you’re not giving any specifics, here. That’s usually what liberals do…you have no facts, so you resort to name calling. Candy is exactly right. He was much too busy campaigning and partying with his crony stars even to mention the fact that a U.S. Ambassador had been tortured, raped, and killed, as well as 3 other people. When he finally surfaced and gave the news, he quickly returned to Vegas. Then he tried to shift the blame onto some poor clod who had put out a really bad movie which nobody watched, then when it was brought out that the White House KNEW IN ADVANCE that this was planned for 9/11 as a retaliation for the killing of Sheikh Abu Yahya (al-libi) and NO ONE TOLD THE AMBASSADOR, Obama tried to weasel out and blame his uselessness and mistakes on everyone else. Did it escape your notice that Obama hasn’t bothered to attend his security meetings?
You really need to rethink who is the idiot here.

It doesn’t matter how much money is raised. It depends on the right person for the job, and after these last few years, we know who is not RIGHT for the job!!!

  • mkreider

The sad thing is that Obama was campaigning when the ambassador was killed in Libya. Obama didn’t even know if Egypt was an ally. Obama had time for Letterman but no time to meet with Netanyahu. Obama can sing, play golf, go on Letterman, party hearty with celebs but what he cannot do is govern.

    • Bronco

I think Obama is avoiding talking to Netanyahu because he prefers talking to Iran. He needs to take a stand. Then we’ll know how he really feels. He could have let his VP go on Letterman in his place. (No rotten tomatoes, please. . . just pointing out how ridiculous it was for him to keep a date with Letterman that to deal with the Israel/Iran crisis!) Another war– with nuclear weapons will be the last war IMO.

      • Joel0903

He’s already taken his stand – “He who does not stand with me, stands against me”. He just won’t come out and say it.

Maybe, he is afraid of Netanyahu, and getting schooled again.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_B6YOZ45J7ABUMCZEUQFSEJJGYU Col

He doesn’t want to talk to him because he doesn’t know what to say without his teleprompter. He has told so many lies, he even has trouble remembering what he lied about so talking with someone as intelligent as Netanyahu would make show his lack of knowledge about what is going on in the world. In other words, he would look like an idiot. I can hardly wait for the debates with Romney. Biden and Paul Ryan ought to be a hoot as well.

$4 Mil? They should re-distribute that!

  • Ken P.

You don’t understand; this was Mitt Romney’s fault. See, because Romney has all these bundlers, Obama is forced to meet with Beyonce’ and Jay-Z to compete in the fund raising battle instead of meeting with Netanyahu. Ergo, any and all negative consequences in the Israel-Iran debacle are directly attributable to Romney. Whew; looking at things through the liberal prism makes my head spin.

  • bluewaternavy

First, no one else said he had to be Superman… HE’S the one who keeps talking about how marvelous he is. Second, we don’t WANT him to change the world or the U.S. We like the way the Constitution is set up (and if something needs to be changed, that’s what Congress is for, to make amendments… not the President, running around making Executive Orders and appointing “Czars”). We LIKE being free, and being able to say what we want (unlike that poor slob who was hauled off to jail for posting a poorly made movie on YouTube because the President couldn’t admit that it was HIS failure to notify our Ambassador in Libya that he was in danger, causing him to be raped, tortured, and killed). Third, any one of us here could do a better job than he has done… we don’t have the money or the backers (the hundreds of millions of dollars he collected from Wall Street and George Soros) nor the fawning media to be able to run. Fourth, if you want to talk about disrespect, go back and look at some of the things that were said about George Bush, not to mention Sarah Palin. Most of you are so irrational that you can’t even stay on topic which is not Israel, Libya, Letterman, Netanyahu, Iran, or “redistribution”!!! The reality is that The President kicked ass in the limelight with music royalty and 98 other rockin’ Democrats who agree on the progressive path for America. Obama is beating you rightards at the game by the rules that YOU GUYS WROTE!! Tough crap. Just be happy that even though you won’t vote for him, he will still work with the same commitment to impove your lives as well as the rest of us.
