Today, Jews around the world are celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. To commemorate the holiday, The Daily Beast decided to compile a photo gallery of Jews blowing the shofar, or ram’s horn, which ushers in the start of the new year. Seems innocuous enough.
When it came time to title the collection of photos, though, someone dropped the ball. Hard. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall when The Daily Beast editors came up with the brilliant idea to pay tribute to the centuries-old stereotype about Jews having horns …
We can’t wait to see how The Daily Beast marks Yom Kippur.
