As the Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program went into effect nationwide on Wednesday, Ariz. Gov. Jan Brewer pushed back quickly, issuing her own executive order to block the issuing of drivers’ licenses and benefits under the program.
Twitter opinion was split, but tonight Brewer says that public comment to her office is running 7-to-1 in favor of the executive order.
.@GovBrewer's spox says her office has received 2,037 comments in favor of executive order on dreamers, 292 opposed.—

@GovBrewer Keep up the great work, Gov. But don't wag your finger at Dems. They're SO sensitive. Big boys start to cry.—

Not everyone is happy with the direction the tide seems to be turning.
Aren't you glad @GovBrewer and cronies are around to stop the browning of America? I wonder when they'll come for me.—

@brahmresnik @GovBrewer I've seen at least 292 people call Jan Brewer the C-word on social media. Does she consider that support?—
