Amazing on-scene photos: RAF Red Arrows fly over London for Olympics opening ceremony

The world-famous Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team flew over London today to help kick off the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Awesome.

This morning, they had a flypast over Edinburgh Castle as well.

And over the Dorset coast this afternoon.

Beautiful! Those lucky enough to be at the Olympic Park, or the near vicinity, describe the sights and post pictures.

This guy tries to make the best out of being unable to see the awesome formation.

Indeed. Twitter users share more incredible photos.

What a way to let the games begin!
