Since the media just blamed Gander Mountain and Bass Pro Shops for selling the shooter the guns we know what narrative this feeds.

Guns don’t kill people. Apparently Bass Pro Shops and Gander Mountain kill people. At least, that’s what one would think based on all the hate being directed at the retailers after it was announced that they sold weapons to Aurora shooting suspect James Holmes.
Hey @Bass_Pro_Shops, What type of animal do you think people are hunting when they buy a AR-15 semi-automatic assault rifle from your store?—

@bass_pro_shops = blood money. I will never shop there. #theatershooting—

The movie cinema shooter bought his guns at a Bass Pro shop. I went to one in Texas, it made me feel sick. Fix this, America.—

@Bass_Pro_Shops I dare you to remove your weapons from your shelves… You won't though because profit and revenue are more important right?—

Fuck Colorado RT @BillWeirABC: Guns used in the #theatershooting were purchased legally at Bass Pro Shops and Gander Mountain Guns…—

While the target of online anger has moved from the stores to the Constitution to the state of Colorado, some suggest redirecting it somewhere else.
Food for thought: maybe comics, movies, Bass Pro Shop, pricey popcorn and the internet are not to blame. Maybe the shooter is.—
