Aurora shooting victim's mom: Please get #RIPJessica trending

Early this morning, Twitchy brought you the heart-breaking story of one of the first Aurora shooting victims to be identified — young journalist and dedicated Twitter user Jessica Ghawi (@JessicaRedfield).

Her mom has been asking Twitter users to make Jessica’s name trend to counter all the publicity the alleged shooter has been getting.

Twitter users are heeding the call.

If you’re on Twitter, please help out and get #RIPJessica trending! Spread the word:

Jessica’s brother, Jordan, wants everyone to remember the other 11 who lost their lives. Keep them all in your prayers:

Update: The second of 12 murdered victims has been identified: It’s Alex Sullivan, whose father moved the nation to tears today when he went public to plead for information about his son after he was unable to contact him.

The pain is unfathomable.
