Politico White House correspondent: Fast and Furious 'kinda real' … 'but not really'

Gun shops coerced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives into selling assault weapons to buyers representing Mexican drug cartels.

Thousands of guns allowed to “walk” across America’s southern border into Mexico.

Fast and Furious weapons found at multiple crime scenes on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, dead.

Mario Gonzalez, brother of a former Mexican state attorney general, dead.

Over 300 additional Mexicans killed.

Months of stonewalling from the Department of Justice.

Executive privilege invoked to prevent Congress from accessing documents on the program’s scope and the actions taken against the whistleblowers who brought it to light.

“Kinda real. [B]ut not really.”

Progs can close their eyes, but this sh*tstorm goes all the way to the Oval Office. Potus tried to stay out of it and delay turning over anything incriminating. Now that he’s tied himself directly to the F&F scandal his hopes of a second term are evaporating quickly. If indictments follow a House vote supporting Holder’s contempt of congress vote next week, it could get much uglier, much faster than Obama would like. His only hope is to get re-elected and create as much mayhem in government to declare marshall law and avoid impeachment. That’s a longshot. His political career will fall as fast as the MSM caused it to rise, maybe faster. Even the lib media can’t put enough lipstick on this pig to make it fly.

Wow, there’s a shocker. Someone that works for Politico is a leftwing moron. But he does have a point: F&F is far from Watergate. No one got killed as a result of Watergate.

This investigation of Holder, the DOJ and Fast/Furious really is racist!!

Remember, Brian Terry was WHITE. Holder won’t prosecute civil rights cases where victims are white, so why should he care about white Federal agents?

Excellent summation (and links) of F&F, guys…in fact I’ve shamlessly stolen it for future reference, and for ruining several of my lib acquaintances’ day. However, don’t forget to add ICE Agent Jaime Zapata, who was murdered in Mexico investigating F&F by a weapon purchased during said operation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaime_Zapata_%28U.S._agent%29), as well as guns from F&F being found at nearly a dozen crime scenes here in the U.S.: http://articles.latimes.com/2011/aug/17/nation/la-na-atf-guns-20110817.

Of course Progressives’ll find this less than Watergate! They’ve been “breaking a few eggs” to make their human “omlet” Since the Great Soviet Famine so having to run interference on a comparatively few thousand must leave these newsers feeling like pikers!
