Twitter is on fire tonight over Juan Williams’ comments that bloggers aren’t journalists. On Fox News Channel’s Hannity TV show, Williams dissed Twitchy founder/CEO Michelle Malkin in particular and bloggers in general during a discussion about the controversial “Fast and Furious” program that sent guns to Mexico, saying, “I’m a real journalist, not a blogger.”
Oh, boy, Juan Williams just said @MichelleMalkin is "just a blogger". That could get its own #ThingsIdRatherDo hashtag game.—

@hannityshow @michellemalkin @TwitchyTeam DID JUAN WILLIAMS SAY MICHELLE IS "JUST A BLOGGER" ????—
MyAmerica10 (@MYAMERICA10) June 14, 2012
Of course Michelle proceeded to rip Williams a new one:
"Real journalists are apologists for corrupt policy"- @michellemalkin referring to Juan Williams (&entire MSM). Amen & thank you! #tcot—

The irony of a “real journalist” mocking bloggers was not lost on those following the decline of the MSM and their failure to cover Fast and Furious:
I think that Juan Williams 'I'm a real reporter not a blogger' comment @michellemalkin was MSM death rattle. @hannityshow #teaparty #tcot—

Thank god for the BLOGGERS who broke open the #fastandfurious scandal & paved the way for #realreporters to follow. @TheJuanWilliams—
Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) June 14, 2012
@thejuanwilliams doesn't think bloggers are journos. Guess who's doing the leg work on #BrettKimberlin and #FastAndFurious? You're welcome.—

Proud to be #justablogger ! Can't wait for #RO12 to see the rest of you not #realreporters.—
Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) June 14, 2012
Wow @thejuanwilliams, those other #realreporters at NPR sure were nice to you, eh? Who had your back then? BLOGGERS. @michellemalkin—

Dear Juan Williams, If all we had to rely on was "real reporters" Dan Rather would still be anchoring CBS evening news…—

@michellemalkin You tell 'em… blogs play a vital role and if they didn't, MSM wouldn't cover stories they break

I wouldn’t trade @michellemalkin for a thousand Juan William clones. She is invaluable as a journalist and a person.—

Update: #JustABlogger is trending …
Does "real reporter" @TheJuanWilliams know what trending on Twitter means? I do, but then again I'm #justablogger—
JammieWearingFool (@JammieWF) June 14, 2012
RT if you are #justablogger who has helped report/expose/amplify stories #realjournalists won't touch. @TheJuanWilliams—
Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) June 14, 2012
This is standard for the left. @MichelleMalkin is #JustABlogger. @AnnDRomney is #JustAStayAtHomeMom. #TeaParty is #JustRacists. Typical.—
Ben Howe (@BenHowe) June 14, 2012
@BenHowe @TheJuanWilliams If the #MSM had vetted Obama like #JustABlogger we wouldn't have #JustACommunityOrganizer as President. #Mitt2012—
Scotty Dickey (@otscotty) June 14, 2012
Yes @MichelleMalkin is #JustABlogger and @TheJuanWilliams is #just an Obamaapologist—
Doug Hagin (@DaleyGator) June 14, 2012
I'm #justablogger because the Obama administration decided to get #fastandfurious with my tax money, and caused countless deaths. #tcot—
Jeff (@fragmentally) June 14, 2012
If Thomas Paine were around today, he'd be #justablogger with his page 'commonsense.com'—
(@LisainDallas) June 14, 2012
Was Andrew Breitbart #justablogger?—
